The problem with rollable display is it can be broken with hard press, especially when you are playing games with it

Who even cares anymore? Foldables STILL haven't really found their place, the devices that exist all seem to be worse than the usual flagships in terms of specs, with more disadvantages than advantages. Flip phones are by far the worst, terrible battery life, mediocre cameras, bad display ratio and not that compact..

jason, 25 Mar 2022I dont know where you think foldables are a thing of the pa... moreWhile I agree with your opinion, I see absolutely no need to harrass him (saying "your small minded brain") because of his opinion... Just because his opinion different than yours, doesn't mean you have to mock him the way you did...

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Foldables are a thing of the past. Why's nobody workin... moreI dont know where you think foldables are a thing of the past as more companies are developing them, alongside rollables, maybe your small minded brain cant understand tech advancements and so forth, there is a place for all these types, as the tech matures

we can confirm to call this as Samsung Galaxy V Book, i think so.

The letter N looks like a tri-fold with inward and outward fold that has been rumored a lot and Samsung Display showed prototypes of but I hope it's a slideable model.
Flex Note is for laptops only btw.

I think they can name the line Origami.

I think it will be a laptop. Tablet closed, laptop opened with on screen keyboard. it will be perfect to watch movies o it

Maybe a foldable Tab S perhaps?

It's probably going to be a first gen product like the original fold, so that explains the limited production. But excited to see how it folds differently, maybe horizontally instead of a vertical hinge.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Foldables are a thing of the past. Why's nobody workin... moreI prefer foldables to be honest. I feel it is more satisfying to fold open up a phone.

Either way though, foldable phones at the moment are pretty underwhelming so we can both agree that hopefully in the not too distant future something cool comes out. I still miss the 3.5mm jack too :(

Juice.902, 23 Mar 2022I know people are jumping at "Note" but I hope it... moreThat's exactly what I thought seeing the name N. Because N is just Z rotated. So it must be a different form factor.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Foldables are a thing of the past. Why's nobody workin... moreCause they need to milk the foldables first. If they launch rollables now, nobody is going to buy foldables.

Until then they will spout the party line...rollable tech is not ready yet.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Foldables are a thing of the past. Why's nobody workin... moreBecause it is not ready yet. Foldable form factor protects the inner screen through folding while rollable dosen't have that kind of protection

When are the two fold foldables going to come out? That could be interesting.

A big 2:1 screen could then be folded into a small 2:3.

                              Or even better, a 16:9 screen folded into a ~ 3:5.

Juice.902, 23 Mar 2022I know people are jumping at "Note" but I hope it... moreAgreed, the Oppo Find N is better than the Fold, even though there is some caveats, like always with these prices range :P

Might be the rollable. Isn’t that the only other form factor Samsung had in mind?

                                    Why?

I know people are jumping at "Note" but I hope it's more akin to the Oppo Find "N" which is to say taking queues from that more compact, landscape form factor. I love my Fold 3 but it's so damn tall when folded.
