And two separate dedicated amps to drive the speakers. Giving far superior audio output in headphones and speakers leaving Sony in the dust.

But then I'm not impressed about how they release a ~$1800 smartphone with emphasis on the imaging but then heavily crop down the main sensor because they don't use a proper lens with the imaging circle. I also don't believe they use a wider horizontal FoV in wider formats, like Panasonic's multi-aspect design, which would be immensely useful because the screen(thus potentially the viewfinding) is in 21:9, so if 21:9 shooting has the same diagonal as 4:3, it makes for something unique, a large-sensor UWA in fact, as it would give 15% wider horizontal FoV than 4:3, which for 4:3 giving 24mm equiv. would yield around 19-20mm equiv.

The fact that the first tournament is in June, would mean that the Xperia 1 IV would've been released by then, maybe even a Pro-G (gaming) phone, who knows?

When you start spreading something new please at least be acurate.
Many things on linux doesnt works at all.
That so called crappy UI is fine in most cases.
Stock android is best i know that had Moto X4 for 3 and half years and swapped it for 5G xiaomi Mi 11 lite because no 5G moto was available at my network carrier which came in 2021 at time middle of summer 2021 when i was going to buy new phone.
This now 4 and half years old Moto X4 still working in top notch condition.
Gave ti to my neighbour for his daughter when she finnished basic school as a gift.
Always had a book case and screen protector on it so phone was in 100% condition apart the battery.
But to the facts. UIs arent better than stock android but in some cases UI is way better than stock android because some UIs have something which stock androids will never have.
Linux is way better than windows or Apple OS but is unable to run litterary everythign and for a heavy gamer like my self is useless. Same goes for Apple OS where apple macbooks are unable to run heavy games on maximum possible details without overheating throttling freezing etc.
So for a heavy gamer windows is always best.
For those IT linux is better option.
For anything else even apple is good even is tottaly overpriced selling low specced laptops with best CPU on benchmarks and score on paper but equal or worse than most midrangers on heavy gaming if you ahve a typical gaming notebook with good internal and external cooling.

Those chinese phones for less price gives more ram, more battery, faster charging, much better screen, sound and camera and many else.
Sony gives half of that apart the fact it comes with 3,5mm jack and SD slot which doesnt matter because no phone can run or store game from SD slot.

Second even the Xperias are great and quality phones they arent suitable for gaming because compared to other phones which offers much better cooling options, faster charging bigger batteries, better sound output, touch sampling, more hertz and refreshr rate etc. and usualy a phone which is designed for gaming like a Black Shark, Lenovo legion, Razer Phone or ROG by Asus.
