Tobias, 09 Jul 2008Here in The Netherlands the Iphone 3G will be sold via T-Mo... moreI was very surprised about the, imo, low prices in the Netherlands as well! Look at what o2 charges for them in the UK, its insane! the 8g version you get for free over here with a €45 (2yr) contract, which is what, ~30GBP?

Here in The Netherlands the Iphone 3G will be sold via T-Mobile. Prices start at €30,- a month for a 2-year contract and you have to pay €80,- extra for the Iphone 3G. Looking to our western neighbours its looks like our prices are a lot lower. For the phone as for the contract!

Get directions to wherever from wherever. View turn-by-turn directions or watch your progress with live GPS tracking. iPhone 3G even finds points of interest as you go: Search for “coffee” and iPhone shows you every cafe on your route."

I think people hate the iphone because it's been a massive success, and as a result it's being targeted for it's fame.

I also think that many people badmouth it because they can't afford it, and they're trying to convince themselves that it's a bad phone.

Just my opinion, i also think that despite the iPhone having a few problems, as any phone does, it's also a revolutionary piece of technology, setting the standard for the top end of the market.

i think it wont be a gr8 deal to have a contracted iphone at 500$ and particulary when there are phone available like samsung ominia or htc touch diamond..they have much more features then iphone n by d way remember what gsmarena said!
iphone is best ipod not a best multimedia phone..then why is such hype?just 4 fluid interface?there r other feature also..anyone techy would understand that..

George, 04 Jul 2008Iphone 3g can be ordered ONLINE from o2 on MONDAY 7th. To ... moreNo, the iPhone doesn't have real GPS nor does it have very fun or interactive web browser (being able to touch and zoom doesn't count as much in my book as being able to send the current page you're viewing to any contact in your phone, mobile or e-mail). Nor does it have great e-mail service. Typing on it simply FAILS, and the $200 plan you must have in order to obtain this garbage is simply apalling and plunder. Windows mobile 6+ isn't all that but it owns this platform. Android > iPhone OSX anyway. LOL

just find out from a csr at at&t that those like me will lose their corporate discount for as billing each month by buying the new iphone. however if your company waives any activation fee's there will be no upgrade fee for $18.00, however the data plan did change. you will now have to pay extra for text messaging and the plan went up $10 dollars more. make a wise choice before purchasing the phone, because it's actually more then the orginal one if you do the math on it. for people who really thinks iphone is so much better then the nokia nseries devices, really need to cut it out. first of all the qvga screen which seems to be the new standard for phones that our pricey the iphone does'nt have that. now you have to either buy it or downloaded from their apps store for as with nokia it's already there. please stop trying to compare the camera with the nseries phone as well because it get killed by the nokia phones period no matter how you try to compare it. at&t as well as tmobile our gsm carriers buy any phone you choose and be happy with it,as for me the n96 has by far proven to be a revoluntionary phone and definely the best out their period
