When it gets warmer the water evaporates and, by a well known process it gets colder. It is how sweating works only the skin gets the water from inside.
It can only work for a short time till it runs out of water, of course.

Some of you are really stuck at 2000 with that racist mentality.

Here is a video in Chinese reviewing the case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-iWTaUrcHU
Sorry YouTube don't have auto translate subtitle option for this. It's a gel invented by a team from Wuhan University and UCLA and OPPO have exclusive use rights for now.

5:12 for result. Green line is back of main board and blue line is back of battery. 5:35 for FPS increase. 6:27 for taking the case apart

Here is the scientific paper for the gel if you have the education to understand it: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.nanolett.0c00800

Imagine unironically shilling and defending megacorps, for free even. Sad. Just sad.

Uh, so it passively creates a surface with constantly lower temperature than the surroundings? A perpetual motion machine...?

I wanted to buy Find X5 pro but changed my mind because of the heater of SD 8 Gen 1. What's good design when that ceramic becomes too hot. I'll stick with SD 870 phones.

This must be for the 8 gen 1 find X that SOC needs it

                                The D9000 version is alright

GSMarena should purchase this and test its efficacy.
