Apple's biggest mistake is ignoring the emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and South America where Nokia has a strong following with its line of cheap symbian phones. Android is starting to target this market with ever cheaper android phones with those 800 MHz chips. There is no way these people can afford 600 dollar phones. I had an iPhone 4 and have switched to an s3 instead of iPhone 5 because iOS is starting to fall behind in terms of innovation. I recently had the chance to play around with the HTC 8x and windows phone is extremely impressive. I can't wait to try out bb10, Jolla, key lime pie, ios7, wp9 and canonical Ubuntu. BRING ON THE WAR OF MOBILE OS'S.

Samsung will be the top brand regardless as they have a foot in both Andriod & will 'export' the Galaxy range to Windows
ALL will benefit at the expense of Apple for 2 connected reasons
TIM COOK on his visit to china stated that APPLE PRODUCT PRICES WILL REMAIN HIGH.
This desire for Apple will see people say it's too rich and look elsewhere and realise that they are NOT in fact losing anything in buying a lower priced product. point in question is the NEXUS 4 no microSD so suits "Apple" fans
The second reason is the Apple v samsung lawsuit and as i understand the GOOGLE CEO comment in that Apple is going after the phone makers and NOT GOOGLE itself
Microsoft will NOT become a target for Apple nor anyone who releases a windows phone
Re Blackberry 10, uncertain as some blackeberry fans LOVE a physical keyboard
Sony camera is the selling point as the Xperia T 18 months after did an XPERIA supercede the SGS II again the xperia Z better than the SGS III but SGS IV imminent
Nokia and windows will gain the most from Apple

Well done to LG you earned the right to up there.
It was inevitable that even the die-hard i-zombies would see Apple for what they are: a company whose bottom line is more important than their customers. After Apple stating that 3.5 inches was the “one and only size” surprised they don’t “own it with patent” Bet the next iphone will be exact copy of i5 except have bigger than 4 inch screen, and come in many different colours, in a pathetic (copy-cat) attempt to regain market share.

As I see there were many fools (including me LG OB) who bought phones from LG (Optimus series) and then didn't get support from them in updating OS-only cheap promises and delayed schedules. Now I see that Samsung starts to have same problems also korean liar - see JB for Galaxy S2 (my new phone). Let's see how many will trust LG this year - me never again.

if you ask me I can tell you that lg is one of the best brand tha ever have exist cause it has staunding divices plus good shape and also price gather with performance, if you can have a look to other brand kind Apple, yes they do, and give a hard slam to the conteiners but they are capital's company all they products are such expencive and quite dificuld to get support from them,

I have a nexus 4 and a charge lasts me a full day... Mostly sms, web browsing (YouTube included), email and reading ebooks. I was was coming from a galaxy note with at&t which was okay. Over saturated colors aren't my cup of tea. I got tired of the monthly bill with the contract so I sold it and paid the cancelation fee. I ordered a $350 nexus 4 from Google and got it two weeks later (lucky I guess)...Use it with t- mobile's $30 5 GB plan... Literally cut my bill %75. I think people who are quick to bash the nexus 4 are just not their target buyers. If you take huge videos and play games for hours at a time then you need something like a note 2 or Razer max. The nexus 4 is more in the "budget smartphone" niche...The galaxy s3 and the like cost double to purchase outright so it's hard to compare. People hate with a passion the fact that it lacks sd slot, USB otg, lte in the states [darn Canadians;)], and swappable battery... but these are the compromises made for such an inexpensive phone. For the same price of buying a Note 2($700+) off contract I get a phone and a year of service($350+$360)

In India you'll rarely see iPhone because phones are sold unlocked, and there's a site where I can see for yourself the difference between the price of all devices sold in India
