Curved 34 inch monitor by Xiaomi capable of 4K cost from 405 at mine store here in Slovakia and is way better and for 300 less price.

I don't care much about having only 60Hz refresh rate since I don't always play games and I don't see the need to brag about smoother scrolling effect, but VA panel? Come on Samsung, you have no problem putting IPS LCD panel with HDR10 or HDR10+ support on your monitor before.

Manufacturer surely might save a few bucks on the panel, but really - leave ancient 60 Hz panels to rest already. VA doesn't make it any better, it most likely will have quite a lot of ghosting... My 60 Hz 4K-monitor that had a VA-panel too, had quite a lot of ghosting. Noticeable even when dragging windows.

The M7 did not have any audio output besides the HDMI ARC port.
This new M8 doesn't even seem to have an HDMI ARC. Is there an 3.5mm jack?
To me it is important to be able to connect to my good pc speakrs.

I was expecting this new M8 to have 100% aRGB colour gamut, true 10bit colours and 75Hz refresh.
The higher refresh rate is for less eye fatigue, and not so much of a gaming need. Many of you out there has mistaken why 75Hz.

Pretty sure apple/Imac displays had black bezels till the M1 Imac. (Apple display still has black bezels though). But since they don't to do that anymore Samsung can copy the design and stand, then it magically becomes the most beautiful thing ever.

At least you can trust Samsung to make a nice looking display. Apple take notes. No wait... Don't. Otherwise fans will complain about copying that too lol
