Nokia XR20 starts receiving Android 12 update

The phone was launched last summer with Android 11 on board.

Nokia T20 Tablet still running on Android 11, I don't know why HMD promise to provide latest updates when clearly they don't give a shit about updates, I am not going for nokia in future never.

    I am very disappointed because still I not get Nokia 3.4 Android 12 update company has promise but in future I am thinking I will not purchase Nokia mobile shame on you hdm global now it's time to Android 13 we don't need Android 12 give us now Android 13 🤬🤬🤬

        My first phone with Android One was released with version 8 so it was very good back then because there was no bloatware no custom UI just a clean Android with less features but everything I needed. My previous phone was Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Was very fast with first release then I updated to 9, was a little bit slower but at version 10 was horrible. Drivers were not full the camera portrait option was not working because of drivers and etc.. I bought a Nokia XR20 because my father have 5.3 and he is receiving a lot of updates. On the other hand I see no reason anymore to own an Android One phone because the manufacturers (maybe only Nokia) do not update their OS as often as it was in the beginning. The last update I received was in December on my XR20. Security patch.

            Je me demande si cette mise à jour pourra intégrer la fonction d'activation d'empreinte accidentelle tout comme la concurrence le fait aujourd'hui, je ne peux pas tenir mon Nokia Xr20 en main sans que le bouton d'empreinte pense que je veux déverrouillé mon Nokia avec ma main.

              I don't get it, if it has pure Android, it should receive every single possible update, because it's supposed to get those straight from Google, right? Or what am I getting wrong? If it's not like this, I see zero reason to have pure Android on any other phone than those from Google.

                  Nothing in UK yet!! Come on Nokia, stick to your promises and you might get some sales. Last Nokia for me, too many years of lying.

                    MiUI, OneUI , Funtouch etc doesn't allow users to enjoy pure Android. I asked my mate why he was complaining about his Xiaomi still stuck on A11 and wanted A12 which still will be same old sh*t. Told him to get Nokia , Motorola or Pixel

                          Nokia XR20 was released in Q3 2021 by HMD Global. This was not flagship but definitely the costliest Nokia phone in recent times. Now after 9 months, at the end of Q1 2022, it is getting the first OS update of Android 12. So far they had manage to provide Android 12 update only to the phones with SD 480 chipset. They have yet to provide Android 12 OS update to G10/11, G20/21, 5.3/5.4, 2.4/3.4 (8 phones) and T20 Tab. Android 12L is already out and they are not yet able to provide the first OS update till date. Not sure, when all these phones will get Android 12 OS update and if they will able to provide Android 12L update before the launch of Android 13.

                                Got my update here in Colombia. It was already staged on the phone and only took about five minutes total to install. March 5, 2022 security patch.

                                    Given that it's stock Android, it takes Nokia a long time to roll out Android 12 to its devices. Then again, Motorola is largely stock Android and it's hopeless with updates too.
