Is it patented to be offline by Nokia? On the other hand, Nokia maps on WP is not even showing as much details as compared to Google Maps. I'm not seeing any block numbers along my neighborhood areas. Do you not know that block numbers are very important especially when you are searching for buildings? If Google is hiring the same group for their maps, then why Nokia maps are so inferior as compared to Google Maps?
What sense do you have actually.... Windoze Phone fans... tsk tsk tsk...

If the user cannot even have his most frequent used app working well, why do you think he cares about the platform? Not everyone uses Skype. Furthermore, if he really uses Skype, why does he need to get a windoze phone? Skype is also working much better on iOS / Android as compared to Windoze phone! So, your point is totally flawed. Next!

Simply put, the so-called xbox titles are just games that MS put its name over it. Cut the rope and Angry Birds are NOT even from MS, yet MS claims that is Xbox games. What load of craps!

I reside in India and i already updated my L710 with 7.8 from Nokia care in december of last year .
those updates were not official or what ??
What is with this new update ??
Or these are same as old one ??

i went to Nokia care to update my phone to 7.8 update but when i asked them does 7.8 update is available or not?they refuse to say me that and said we will install latest firmware which will charge rs 600 i said ok but at least tell me which firmware its but still they didn't say and i left nokia care without updating.. Nokia will surely loose his name for this type of behavior to his/her customer

And don't tell me that Wp has no Instagram(yet), there are bunch of apps at Wp that are way better than Instagram..

Comparing to the older S3, Google maps is scrolling much better than the Nokia maps! Zooming in and out on Nokia map is so bad with all stuttering. Even on the offline mode!
Yes, perhaps the basic modules like People, picture, office hubs are fast. But when comes to 3rd party apps, all are performing so badly! Try loading ebook on the fedora reader. Try looking at Android Moon+ reader. The fedora reader on WP is so messy looking with the UI as compared to Moon+ reader!
Last but not least, you still can't attach more than 1 office documents in an single email on Windows Phone! What a total shame!

Has exactly what I need at least. Sure the OS isn't exactly crammed full of random apps that all do the exact same thing (like another smartphone OS that shall not be named) but its a smooth, friendly OS that's rarely caused me problems. Definitely worth a try at least.

Finally some info on the 7.8 update from a familiar source :-) why windows phone some people say... My Lumia 710 is faster than my old Galaxy S, links to xbox live and keeps my social life in order without needing an app for everything. Also the battery life is pretty good so it helps me work hard and play harder. what more can I ask? More customisation... Oh wait re-sizable tiles coming soon! Thank you Microsoft I used to dislike you but no more :-D
