Hey MFST, no one gives a sh*t about 7.8, it is a dud upgrade, you need to fix the bugs with WP 8 before lacing the existing WP 7.5 users with your ill timed bug laden experiments. BB 10 is going to kick your ass on January 31st, all existing WP 7.5 users are better off with IOS, BB or Android at this point.

Nokian, 21 Jan 2013i have already updated my phone to 7.8.. i usually hear son... moreif you like loud music on headphones and windows go for htc 8s or 8x. both have beats audio built-in amplifier. both are louder and better than iphone 4,4s and even louder than all ipads wich were the most powerful portable tools until now. i have compared them in parallel on the same song,same sony xb 700 headphones. go for htc !!! ATTENTION! IS NOT JUST SOFTWARE EQ, IT IS A SPARE HARDWARE HEADPHONES AMPLIFIER MADE BY BEATS AUDIO LIKE NOKIA N91 HAD HARMAN KARDON !!! IT IS SMASHING !!!

Even d speed will be better and few more updates are available.
If u are using Lumia 800 then dont buy Lumia 920 because its just d bigger size and windows 8 option with fix memory.
u can buy Lumia 820, its a better option as it is more chipper thn 920 and has memory card slot option.
what u say on windows phones ?

Even i would say, Lumia 800 screen size is d most comfortable size i feel.. d quality of screen and body which Lumia 800 provides is not available in market by any phone with any os at 19000/-
Nokia, bring back Lumia 800 with windows 8, it will b a super hit..
try n trust indian market..

Nokia should have brought d same Lumia 800 with 32gb at 21000/- and 16gb with 19000/- in windows 8..
trust me it would have cover d market really really wel along with Lumia 920, 820, 620, windows 8..

Hey i got it updated to 7.8 last month itself..
there are few bugs for sure..
such as whatsapp dose not download few videos, unread no.of sms keep showing on screen and after checking chat i dont get those unread sms...
whats wrong with it i dont understand..
whatsapp needs to be upgraded very very soon for WINDOWS phones... speed is really pathetic in compare to ANDROID AND Iphone.
But a big face, WINDOWS specially LUMIA 800 is just d best phone d best..
m using it since 1yr..n m very very satisfied..

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2013No file management. :-) Well, iPhone has no file management and is selling like hot cakes. Actually iPhone is much more limited than Windows Phone and it is one of the best sellers. So to increase market share, Nokia shouldn't necessarily do what you like but focus on marketing instead.

I basically think Zune works like a charm. I dunno why there is so much hatred towards it. Yeah i know its a overhead, but then why is there so much hatred towards it? Makes me wonder.
Anyways waiting to try WP7.8 on my Lumia 710. It should look super cool!!!

i have already updated my phone to 7.8.. i usually hear songs wit full volume.. but after update, sound has got decreased too much.. hearing wit 30 volume in 7.8 is like hearin wit 15 volume in 7.5... anyone else facing this problem in 7.8??? plz let me know.. thanks..

This application allows you to get unofficial updates for the phone. But having this early update version may provide bugs and issue to the device. It is best to wait for any upcoming update rather than forcing your phone to be updated and be on the thread.
