Fluffy , 30 Mar 2022Wireless charging yayYou think? Has there been any indication of this? I suspect they will stick to USB-C and the pogo-pins, but I would be glad to learn otherwise.

The 2020 xcover pro wasn't quite what i needed to be my daily driver. hopefully this one will be. the replaceable battery is such a great thing

Xcover 5 was a better size. This is just too big. Why Samsung

It's just that the chipset is a letdown since it's using the same Exynos chipset as in the Tab S6 Lite and only has comparable performance to the likes of Snapdragon 665 and 662.

Finally samsung embraces the better flat sides design

I think one can argue either way - carrying around a huge slab at work is impractical, on the other hand a big screen allows big simple app-layouts that may work better in a hurry or with gloves on.

To bad I don't like huge design, I have galaxy xcover 5 and I'm happy with it's 5.3 inch screen size.

Except for the ugly tear drop camera, this phone is looking pretty decent. I need a strong phone that can withstand the elements, so I'd rather have this than a flagship just for the IP rating and slapping on an expensive otterbox case.

'The phone should inherit its predecessor's removable battery either way.'
It would be a sick joke if it didn't, especially with the 2nd pic showing the cutout where you are supposed to put your finger in to pop off the cover.

I don't get it. This phone is marketed towards manual workers mostly, people who move a lot and who would prefer to be able to handle the phone with one hand I imagine because their other hand might be carrying something. And those people wouldn't want to lug around a brick in their pocket. They wouldn't need a large screen because they wouldn't be spending their time on games and videos. This should have a 5.5" screen at most and that's large enough as screen estate.
Or are Samsung recycling older parts for this phone and 5.5" panels are a thing of the distant past.
