I bought a Poco X3 NFC based on its specs but the price (under £200) was just too good to ignore. An equivalent Samsung or apple would have been 2 or 3 times if not more expensive for basically the same experience. And before anyone bangs on about software and updates this phone started on android 10 is now on 11 and will get android 12 in the near future. It's on miui 12.5 enhanced and will receive miui 13 soon aswell. I've used this handset from launch and can't fault it especially for its price. It has no more bugs than any other phone I've used and while it did have (unobtrusive) ads I took a whole 5 minutes to look on YouTube for how to remove them and haven't had one since. It came with a 33 watt fast charger in the box, a clear case and pre installed screen protector all for under £200 so it just goes to show how much you can get for not a lot of money if you are prepared to just do a bit of homework before blindly going for whatever a salesperson tells you.

Capt Sandman, 30 Mar 2022Same thing happened with GT Neo 2 in China and it got very... moreYeah, I love my GT Neo/X7 Max, honestly did feel a bit bad that it didn't get a better screen (E4/E5 & HDR10+), a better camera (as in OIS/sensor, UW/macro really doesn't matter to Realme I suppose) and a metal frame would've been cool too, but am very glad that I got a 3.5mm HP Jack and a relatively manageable sized phone (unlike all the other 6.7"+ behemoths) and am more than happy enough with the Dimensity 1200 (tho a bit bummed that they didn't update the GPU to the G78 alongside the newer A78 CPUs, but kept the same old G77-MC9 as the D1000+)

KAI, 30 Mar 2022Yes, consumers in India are very price sensitive.Price is a key factor everywhere, even for us, Europeans. Even if we say it out loud that tradition, proven quality and all sort of this bull**** matters only, it is not true. Price is the most important factor. Everything has a right price for what it offers and if the retailer offers that price, it is a win, otherwise, just money wasted.
