I had Samsung, Blackberry and was looking for an affordable phablet when I heard Croma Chain of Electronic Stores were stocking Micromax Phones. I already knew of A110 Super Canvas 2 's legendary specifications, at only Rs. 10K price. So, I visited the Store the same day and reviewed the phone personally and bought it. Except the screen's resolution being less sharper than other high-end phones (the main difference between this and new A116), it has had no problem thus far for a month. Battery easily exceeds a day's charge provided net surfing is less, even though I use dual-sim and 32GB memory storage. So, this A116 must really bring it on.

Another rebranded chinese phone. If you were to trace the original chinese handset you could get it for cheaper than what micromax is providing for these.

Almost all Mediatek based cheap android phones lacks Digital Compass. If this quad core phone comes with Digital Compass then I will buy it immediately.

That Micromax is emerging as the only competitor to the Samsung galaxy series in India is really inspiring. Big things expected of Canvas HD. Long live Micromax.

Most of the websites only have a hands on experience with the initial mobiles that were given for testing. Once they start hitting the market officially you could have a hands on experience yourself and decide if it is worth the investment. Keep visiting the website for future updates and I guess that should help you out.

gud phone.. But 15000 rupees.. This price tag does not fall in budged phone category.. Price should be between 10,000 to 12000..

Dan , 21 Jan 2013Wait , Wait , Wait .. we all might regret buying this phone... moreAgreed Dan, It does have similar features but if you would notice the screen resolution it has a different specification. To be even more precise it does not feature a HD screen as Micromax & last, the screen is .5" less than Micromax. Nonetheless people would definitely believe in the brand name that Lenovo carries. It's a kind of a close shave choosing between both of them. Anyways it's a good suggestion from your side :)

I´m just curious, or maybe I do not have the full knowledge, but why build a phone with such low internal memory? An unrooted Android 4.1.2 will not use the memory card, making the internal (small) memory not last for very long...
