Anonymous, 31 Mar 2022Even my A52 witch isn't that powerful works fine. I�... moreSorry to chime in late, I haven't exactly noticed any problems since upgrading my A52s but what would clearing the cache partition and repairing apps do exactly? Would it be worth doing anyway?
I have been down that route a few years back with a friends phone that bugged out, trying everything but a full factory reset and the cache partition was enough of a wipe to restore it, but that's the extent of my experience with that haha

I can't fix buggy software and terrible scrolling on my A52s. If something is not working as it's supposed to , its my fault I'm not happy with it?!

I flashed OneUI 4.1(XEO) to my Samsung A71. It's overheating for some reasons.

Just got the 4.1 update on my ates (Sweden).
Early days but the UI feels smooth and snappy again. Yey!
...just hope it lasts over time and not get bogged down.

Ca... moreyes Iam also thinking of selling my A52s 5g because one ui 4.1 ruined a beautiful phone now random overheating and battery drain even overnights... 😠 Iam giving one more chance for next update to fix #Samsung this if not definitely I'll sell it and switch to iPhone Iam tiered of android phones of after every update to google for fixing issues... my sister has iPhone 12 and she not bothered with things like this... full stop ✋️

I upgraded and all 3rd party apps (e.g. banking apps) cannot access the fingerprint authentication. Yeah sure, re-register my fingerprints right? Re-install these apps right? Wipe the cache partition right? Wrong. None of these work. Many more users experience the same problem. Samsung's support response: do a factory reset. Yeah thanks. DO NOT UPGRADE.

I do own S20+ 5G and the f****n A13 got One UI 4.1 and there is still no news about S20+ 5G version. Yeah it is a flagship phone and even stupid AF A52 5G got update and guess what? No update until now for my phone.
well i was having some hope when sammy announced that they going to support phones for 5 year and 4 android update and then they just did it for 1 gen of flagships which would cost them losing people like me.(don't get me wrong they did good but in the wrong way)
So yeah this is what happens to you flagship lovers!(and me)

Jacob92, 01 Apr 2022How we have to repair apps?Sorry for my late response. Just turn off your phone. Connect it to your laptop/pc. Now press and hold both volume up and power buttons. When you see Samsung Galaxy logo release your fingers. Recovery menu should be opened. Navigate by volume down button until you reach to Wipe Cache Partition. Now press power then volume down then power again. After it finishes navigate to Repair Apps and press power button. Wait until it finishes and restarts your phone. Nothing will be lost. No need to backup your data.

Did you consider a clean install with the latest GSMArena beta (once you joined the beta program)?
Did this and solved my issues. It kept crashing at launch before I made the switch. Let me know if that helps.

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2022When for A70sA70s was released back in 2019, and it already got 2 Android upgrades from 9 to 11. It's done. That's it. Samsung's policy back then was only 2 years of OS updates an an additional year of security patch, but that's about it.
