One of my favorite features of BB10 is that apps are categorized as business or non business, and the app is then stored in that particular side of the phone, it's almost as if you have 2 phones in one, gestures are brilliant on BB10 the new camera rewind feature is definitely going to shake up the competition.

Abdul, I think Nigerians are known world wide for their extravagance in whatever they procure, and phones most especially are considered a status thing. therefore an average Nigerian guy will be carrying an andriod, Apple (iphone) Blackberry or other sophisticated phones. You cant rule out the fact that there are Nigerian guys with pretty cheap phones... but man trust me Nigerians no dey dull

The Nigerians are not really ... moreu are a Nigerian and so am i,saying most Nigerians buy china dual sim phones due to them being cheap is wrong and totally wrong,Nigerians are the number one users of hi end phones in Africa,go to the streets of Nigeria every young guy or girl either has a blackberry curve or a bold, then why running Nigeria and Nigerians down,u are better b patriotic or take d flight off! or mayb ure the one buying the chinese dual sim phones for ur fellow villagers. Go to the Nigerian universities and check the phone models that are trending, its either a blackberry or a samsung galaxy, mayb you are from down town Nigeria which every country has. Read your comments before coming out to post what you have not carried a well detailed enquiry on. Thank you.

I work for a large retailer and have had my hands on the device today. A developer model. I use a Samsung s3 and an iPhone 5 and i have to be honest, hate blackberrys with a passion. Another honest note though, Playinf with the BB10, it may have changed my opinion. Its a massive improvement, and should easily put the handset up there in terms of quality compared to other manufacturers, but i still just dont see it commanding a market. Good look to blackberry though. It would be a shame if this venture doesnt work as it truly is an inspired handset. Well done bb

                This is good news.

Ultimately this will be firstly competing not with iOS or Android but with WP8 for 3rd place.

This will drive up competition with WP8 where Microsoft has been sitting on a goldmine doing nothing.
Competition is why iOS and android are so good, and with a rival, WP8 and BB10 should also grow.

More choices to the customer, yay!

I myself am using a BB phone and an android. The android phone came in because of the BB phone not providing much features apart from BBM. Now that I can get all of that in one device I might (too early to say for sure) ditch my android phone

..., 22 Jan 2013if its affordable it will destroy any other brandYou mean "IF" its affordable which wouldn't be the case. Look at how much BB is investing on getting apps to their appstore alone. The cheapest would cost at least 400 - 500 euros and that my friend is not cheap. I mean i will have to leave some useful features on my lumia 920 to go BB, i can at least hope i will be compensated somehow. The fact that they came late wouldn't let them make their phone affordable for the normal worker or student. BB has put themselves at a very high disadvantage. Someone looking for offline navigation, a good camera with good night pics and amazing video and at least a 4,5 screen wouldn't want to go BB without other things to compensate for what he would be missing if he did.

The Crapple fanboys seem to be waking up one by one and adopting android or wp (some leave wp and go to android cos they can't live with the way wp is right now, MS seem to be wasting the chance they have to steal market share from ios and android. I would have normally expected them to put more people to work on Wp to iron out all the issues and bring more feature but it seems they don't believe in wp8 themselves.).BB is trying to bush BB10 as much as they can and thats a good think, whats bad is that they are taking too much time, if they miss this chance and let MS iron out Wp8, its game over. By the way i am using a lumia 920, so i know what i am talking about, i can't even get a decent pdf reader, can you believe that, the only thing tying me down is Nokia hardware (there is no match for that in the market!). MS should be thankful to Nokia for sticking with then and not cheating on them with android. If Nokia goes Android then Wp == dead! Its as simple as that!

The Nigerians are not really in touch with the current development in technology, they often buy those china dual-sim phones cos the high-end devices are very expensive for the normal guy to buy.

In 5 years there will be 2 mobile platforms - Windows Phone and IOS. The others will be fighting for obscurity.
