Europe gets Poco F3/Realme GT at 300-350USD and we get it at more than 425USD with toned down versions. Also European import taxes are huge. Xiaomi software is nowhere related to flagship level or One Plus or even Realme level. They are not good with updates since so last two years. They absolutely doesn't deserve hard earned money even though products they are launching are good. They are launching products with so many bugs, consumers are forced for flashing custom roms.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2022Not even in China is this price. It's five months late to the party. Prices are down. 12 Pro Chinese variant is not selling well due to heating issues. European variant don't have any heating issues still not selling well. So it's upto Xiaomi to reduce the prices and compete well with iQOO 9 Pro and One Plus 10 Pro. Xiaomi is not Samsung to charge 1000USD for this shit phone.

seriously, I got my first Xiaomi phone few days ago and already started to regret the decision. MIUI is basically an ad with settings here and there. jesus, I did spend 26K INR to see ads in my system apps. Literally its ads everywhere and that stupid consent approval is baked into every app, the moment you withdraw consent the app will force close. How much data does this crappy company want from users. Never gonna buy another phone from this company again. before anyone chimes in saying you can disable the ads, let me tell you why bake the ads so deep into system apps? why not openly tell people you will see ads everywhere, hell mention it in phone box and then watch who buys their crap.

Every modern hip ... moreWhen Xiaomi, Realme or OnePlus were releasing phones in 300-500EUR range (the so called flagship killers), people didn't complain too much. Because they were cheap with relatively good specs (minus camera, or IP rating or wireless charging or whatever). And even the problems that appeared on some models, were accepted to a certain degree by people. Because people buying cheaper phones tend to do more compromises, because of the smaller price.
But now, when all of this chinese manufacturers are starting to release phones in 900-1000EUR range, they also need to up their game. Not only some nice spec sheets on a piece of paper.
The problem is, their software and quality still remained in the 300-500EUR range. Even though they declare this and that and they say will achieve this and that, the sad reality is totally different.

Call if what tou want, but it's the truth. Subpar performance too compared to iPhone 13. If it's the same price as iPhone, no one would ever consider it. I was once praising Xiaomi, cheap reliable Android phones. Now? Another overpriced android, similar to Oppo and Vivo.

Recently purchsed d galaxy s22 n that too for $699 which is a good value still people around me bash n say are you mad? Whats der inside that phone at dis price etc.
Many folks cannot digest that we purchased bravia 43" for $900 over $400 mi or oneplus television.
People have mindset to not wear expensive clothes or accessories.
I mean yes, i understand that paying over 1200-1300$ for a phone is not a good idea.
But here people have grown up seeing gold is d only luxurious thing to invest in. Buy gold n keep in locker n wear them on festivals, thats it. Or purchase flats/plots for your kids.
