Go for Note 10 Plus or S20 Plus 4G. A LOT better than this mediocre phone with a highend price.

I was waiting to see how Exynos 1280 performs, and decided to get A52s for 40% less than A53. Same cameras, 3.5mm jack, same screen, and better processor. Only two things A53 has better are 4 major updates and bigger battery, and none of that is worth 200 euros more.
For 450 euros, you can buy S21 FE. This year A series will be big flop. Actually all mid-range phones this year are flop. Maybe we see some changes from summer. There should be some phones with Snapdragon 7xx chipset

Not even the slower chipset matters as much as the fact that I have to charge every day since I bought it.
Besides no one expects a midrange phone to remain as useful and last for more than 4 years, thus these long-term commitments to updates are more of a marketing than anything...

My 2020 model OnePlus 8T does 65W charging... Samsung should catch up, really...

Shadocx, 02 Apr 2022You guys seems to forget USB C earphones exist, you go stra... moreC earphones cost a lot more compared to their 3.55m counterpart. They also depend on the implemented digital audio convertor to produce decent audio.
On one hand, phone makes can make their USB C port become superior to AUX in sound quality, on the other, no one even mentions or brags about their chips or processing for audio meaning they did not really put much effort into it.
You'd need a decent doungle which can easily be the same price or far surpass a decent earphone with an AUX port.

This makes the A52s even more appealing, lol.
The only thing that could make people buy the A53, is the promise from Samsung for longer software support. But, seeing how software updates are bad implemented nowadays, I don't think this is a plus anymore in buying a new phone. If anything I think you are better of with something like a Note 9. At least you will not worry that a software update could break your phone, lol.

The a52s' Qualcomm chipset supporting WIFI 6 was the deciding factor. I decided the a52s was a better value especially since Samsung is offering on their website the a52s with 8gb/256gb for 389€ instead of 509€.

I have my doubts about the Samsung chip, so I didn't wait for A53 and bought A52s in January. Overall I'm happy with my new phone (over my LG V10!).

I have difficulty to change connection my tws from phone to laptop for meeting, and i prefer to only bring one earphone. Also, i have several tws and i just keep forget how to operate them such as pair, turn off, etc. For me, wired just more reliable.

Two true wireless. A neckband. Two in ear wired. And an in ear monitor. For traveling and transportation wireless is better. Wired is better to use at home with laptop.
