I don't understand what the expectation the promise to never settled created in people being being a clever marketing gimmick by BKK when they introduced OnePlus as brand. No manufacturer survives on enthusiast niche markets alone and no one brand becomes relevant in profitability likewise. I bought the OnePlus 10 Pro after succeeding years watching the company delivery high quality products that could rival the best models with a more reasonable price. I jumped from a still very relevant Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro / 9T Pro, due to degrading battery life and the occasional app stutter. I am not the most intensive user of mobile phones in order to notice the camera problems everyone is attaching to the 10 Pro... I know I got my update as soon as the phone connected to my router. And all these bugs never came up since starting to use it in two weeks ago... The reviews are all trying to downward this model totally ignoring that except for Google Píxel any phone better than this one costs more with apple and Samsung closing on to double more.

Overall so far I am happy to share my experience. Yes it's not a phone for everyone and it's not by any means a cheap phone. But in the end of the day it's a phone that compliments my digital life.

Battery life and fast changing make it easily the best o have experience since I started using smartphones back in Nokia's day.

    Same here, I don't recommend OnePlus anymore. They changed , every changed on their phone after the 8t....not worth it buying from them on 2022, there are better phone out there with better price , better looking camera modules, and better looking all around. I am looking into the realme gt2 pro now, it has Flat display, same chipset with same performance and similar camera results, it is cheaper in price.

Maybe next year will be better. Lets hope "Nothing" will come out with something more interesting and with less problems than the OP 10 Pro.

          nanagdad, 02 Apr 2022Meaning before you buy the phone it comes with these bugs c... moreYes. I watched a review of this phone on YouTube and the reviewer had the phone lock up twice on the lockscreen. The phone was responsive but i believe the fingerprint scanner wouldn't work. The only way to fix the problem temporarily was to reboot it. That's a pretty bad bug to leave the factory with considering how long the phone has been out in China.

            Meaning before you buy the phone it comes with these bugs conformed by their changelog;

            -Bug in the focusing speed for videos shot in slo-mo.

            -Bug in portrait mode shots, and white balance for the front camera.

            -Bug in fingerprint recognition algorithm that affected the success rate of unlocking.

            -Bugs in the fluency in games.

            -Bugs in Wi-Fi connections and, general unstable system stability.

            So basically we're buying a phone full of bugs when we open the box lol. 🐞🐞🐞

              Bugs even before opening the box. Deal breaker.

                        After the bad software updates I received on my past OnePlus 9 Pro, I am not trusting this company any time soon.
                        Is sad actually, they were one of the best at delivering good phones at nice prices in the past.
                        Nowadays, all companies want you to change phones as frequently as possible. Even the flagship phones are not made to last.

                                  This is typical OP marketing. Release an update right after announcing the phone so it sounds like there'll be plenty of updates.
