That's good news. Sounds like the Surface Duo - my favorite phone - has a future :-)

The will fire on hiding all Android men. Microsoft lost money and now they try to restructure. Yes they will not layoff, which implies an acknowledgement of failure to succeed as company, they will write bad performance reviews to programmers and fire them for poor work performance without any severance packages and no unemployment benefits.

Anything Microsoft touches these days turns to rot. They are not the company they used to be. I still prefer Windows XP over Win 10. I still have ongoing issues with Windows 10.

Word 2003-2010 is better then today's version of Word. Microsoft making us pay for the same software over and over again. Word is over 25 years old, why do I need to pay a subscription every year. I don't want to rent your software. Easy money from being a monopoly has made Microsoft lazy and they no longer innovate.

Microsoft Store is a waste. Developers don't bother to improve their software and the same version run better on Android. Microsoft made war with other developers, I guess they all moved to Android and iOS.

I liked the Sticky Notes app on Widows, but in order to get the same app on Android. I need to install Microsoft Launcher (which is basically a new Theme for Android). Microsoft want to keep wanting to their their claws everything. It is like a bad controlling boyfriend.

Microsoft won't provide much in the way of privacy and every search on my PC ends up on Microsoft servers.

Microsoft has forgotten desktop users. They are trying to grab the tablet market at the expense of heavy duty desktop users....

They are the ones who shot down the proposal to make windows phone OS free like android, made microsoft buy Nokia and destroy it, killed surface mini, now trying to kill hololens.

Good, because what they were coming up with was fun to read about, but absolutely no fun to use compared to the competition.

Hopefully they get their head out of the clouds. The last couple of devices have been very expensive and poorly supported.

Tho today is the trend of foldables, future is about multiple smart devices, not just smart-phone, but also smartwatch, pen, buds, DACs, glasses, maybe even dedicated camera stick.
Besides hw most important will be if it works together, then across brands and platforms.
I hope tho their ideas are also hw ideas, but considering they shut down phones, bands instead of making next gen and holding it their fans, I got not much of hope. We will see if they can learn from mistakes, finally.
Bringing new device which will stay at least an year in limelight is not just about sw or better cameras, it's also about bringing something new and useful, whatever it's some sensor or new form factor, fragmentation,...

I'd rather see Microsoft resurrect the Lumia lineup with Windows 11 ARM. I'm still using Continuum from my Lumia 950 and I can still see the HUGE potential from it as a true legit pocket PC. After all, LumiaWoA devs can successfully get Windows on ARM running on both Lumia 950 and 950 XL.
