i love my galaxy s22 ultra after 2 cvhanges. 1 bixby is completly disabled and not on button. and 2 great battery life if i disable nfc. honestly untill i disabled nfc i was geting prety much down to 30ish percent sometimes 20 in a heavey usage senario. turning off nfc now means i can finish day on 50 sometimes 55. Still coming from a p30 pro the samsung beats it in everything but battery and i feel that. my 30 pro was a two day sometimes three day phone. sammsung is a 1 day phone unless light usage then it can sometimesd be a two day phone. Still love the phone but miss a sd card so cant put my sd card in with all my music. this sucks. so for me a sd card and a much beter battery life would be what id want on my next g ultra the 24 ultra do that and im in. again. Love one ui, prefer it to androd that and bixby disable brough me back to samsung.

I doubt it's purely GOS. Samsung have been following Apples footsteps by removing the headphone jack and charger. Heck they don't even have an SD card slot now

The marketplace didn't forget the burning note fiasco, probably dont know much about the game mode so will be always fear on whatsoever Sammy asked sorry for despite and less informed people will simply stay away from it. After maybe in a few months, they'll drop the prices make a good promo and they'll manage to increase the sales numbers.

I don't get it i mean it literally makes difference for like 5-6 mins than it starts throttling while using more power...so GOS is actually doing a favour also from many speed comparison it's very clear that even with GOS on it performs as good as any 8GEN 1 phone 😕

i was i big Samsung Fan the past years und ich planned to Switch from my S10+ with 500 GB to the S22 Ultra.
But from all the Rewies und Tests iam very disappointed.So either i wait for the S23 Ultra and hope they will bring a very good Phone with exellent camera,good Design or i will buy another Brand.
When i see some Pictures taken with the S22 Ultra i have to say they are not a big Step forward.

Go to developer options and uncheck all 3 of the animation settings: window animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale. You can set them to 0.5, but I've turned them off and my phone is flying now.

I literally have to slow myself down to tap things with elastic overscroll and Material You didn't exist and so didn't all these forced rounded UI, bold fonts everywhere, and an unfinished user interface with many button fonts not even being visible. Do I need to go on? Popup notices on the bottom now include the app's icon, which I cannot figure out how to shut off, which also takes up more of the screen, and even cuts off text! More of the UI has been expanded, wasting screen real estate and the brightness quick setting button on the right is much harder to press and is now just worse in my opinion. When you swipe up, all notifications disappearing instead of going up looks weird, app icons in app switcher are smaller, the recent button icons are smaller and have no animations anymore, all notifications are now rounded instead of connected, the charging animations makes the phone look like a toy, and I still can't set RAM plus to 1GB.
One UI 5 in my opinion needs to be built on One UI 3 with the features added and nothing visually changed. Everything about Material You should be able to be disabled for people that don't like it. This would also affect apps like Google Play and all system apps. Everything was FINE TO ME before.

The GOS debacle may be getting a lot of attention but Samsung took care of this with it's last update. What's far more damaging to Samsung's reputation are the issues with the Exynos/AMD Chipset plus software conflicts between OneUI 4.0/4.1 and Android 12. Exynos users are pulling their hair out over lag, stuttering, app crashes, battery drain and random reboots. Users are also reporting updating may fix some issues but creates new conflicts as well. They're also sharing the amount of settings tweaks and customization required to address all the conflicts is insane. Agreed, a device should function at a high level without having to spend hours to obtain acceptable performance. Samsung's skin is to date is not in sync with Android 12 after numerous releases. OneUI 4.1 is not well thought out and it's complexities undermine it's compatibility with Android 12, To be frank they may never get it sorted out. Yes, some user's report their devices function great but the amount of user's who are frustrated and disappointed is very high compared with previous devices, the only exception being the Note 7. Buyer beware, you're truly rolling the dice with an S22 Ultra!

I will probably switch from the microSDXC SD card when they will invent the swappable micro SSD.
Cloud storage is spying on your data, investigates it, needs internet connection, requires downloading and uploading, doesn't work in airplane mode basically anywhere on the planet like the SD card which is, get this, instant access to your data!
Go along and buy an iPhone, because clearly you aren't into tech or programming. Default users are the worst!

Just use internal storage of the phone, cloud services or external drives if you really have so much information to store. And stop complaining about things that don’t require complaining about.
You do realise that in the near future smartphones will be port less no? That means no sim card slot, no usb charging port, no sd card.

I for example, am only interested in high-end flagships (no mid-range phones) that have the SD card slot. I do have other criterias as well, but the SD card slot dictates if I'm interested in a phone or not. If it's not present, I completely loose any interest in it, no matter how excellent are the rest of the specs.
And again, don't bring up the speeds because they are absolutely irrelevant. Nobody installs apps on the SD card or boots android from it (even though you can if you want)
Again: No SD card slot = NO BUY! I don't care if the phone transforms into a ufo and flies to Mars! No SD card slot = NO BUY!
The majority of the Note users agree with me on this one, trust me!
