We all know 7000 series will come out this September which will decimate existing card.
This is basically a blatant money grab just like Ryzen 3000XT line, buyers will soon find it obsolete and worth half as much in a few month's time.

Cardano is trying to be something different, just like Stellar, XRP, and other cryptocurrencies. A lot of them will fail, but the ones that will be useful will stay. It's still in it's infancy, so it will take time to develop.

Plenty of real use cases, but not all crypto, only some.

Stellar which is not minable is made to transfer money for all people for almost non-existent fees. It's definitely great, but atm it's being used as a cash grab, especially NFTs.
