I don't see why anyone would even consider the Realme 9 4G. First off, the quoted price isn't correct, since the actual price without exclusive bank/card discounts is actually INR 17,999 (220 EUR), which is simply too much for what this phone brings. At that price (or even lower), one could buy an objectively better phone in almost every aspect, such as the Redmi Note 10 Pro (which has SoC, Display and Cameras that are miles better), Moto G71, even last year's Realme 8 and 8 Pro are much better propositions than this. The only "pro" that i see with this phone is that it launches with Android 12, nothing else. Should be DOA.

Guys, but this sd 680 is already used in 9i and is a no match even the mtk g95/96 used realme 8 4g. So how they got to an idea use such an inferior soc in this years model? This is of no logic for sure, isn't it?

bliztor, 07 Apr 2022No matter how hard manufacturers trying to promote their 2 ... moreit's nothing but a marketing gimmick. my uncle who isn't really tech savvy, thought that having more cameras equals "better" cameras. while the idea is technically correct, if said multiple cameras aren't really better than a a single or two cameras, then it's useless. these companies tend to market their "multiple" camera phone to the innocent buyer in order to fool them into their marketing stunt
with that being said, only a handful of phones actually does have a compelling macro cam. an example is the Redmi Note 10 Pro. not only is the macro cam 5 MP vs 2 MP, it actually has autofocus. as a result, it takes macro photos that are actually very good

SD 680 huh...using the Redmi Note 11 Global w/the same SoC, I am very concern about this Realme phone. does it have 1080p 60fps? at least give us 60fps at 1080p

No matter how hard manufacturers trying to promote their 2 MP cams, they are still useless and worthless. I'm curious, does anyone really find those 2 MP cams useful at all? Why would people paying more for something they won't use?

12gb, 256gb was almost 8000/- more expensive. Realme going apple way of charge abnormal for higher memory.

I wish the Realme 9 4G would have included OIS. I would like to see how the HM6 perform with OIS.

G96 has more improvement and better performance compared to 680. i kinda don't like how G96 still uses 12nm which could be power hunger than 680, its depending for their opinion. hopeful MediaTek can improve high class G series with their smaller fabrication (like 6nm) in this year.

Fantastic price. This except for the 5G, is a better buy over the newly launched A33, which is almost $380. Maybe Samsung charges more for the IP rating
