Samsung is massive and makes way more things than home appliances. That's all you know them as. I was stationed in Japan and Korea and Samsung is everywhere and is as trusted as Sears and Roebucks during the 50's.

Samsun in terms of telephone is going the same way as LG, in a few years no one will want a brand that has the same name as your washing machine, not because it is a bad brand, but because of the bad decisions they are making and greedy that has become, for this they wanted to get Huawei out of the game? to be scamming people?

I won't buy a phone that doesn't have physical cooling solution as Samsung flagship tends to get really hot. Samsung shoot themselves on this

The hardware inside the phone is already 4 months old at this point and the SD8 Gen 1+ chip is already on the horizon not to mention the iphone 14 shortly after that. Old hardware should steadily go down in price. Thats the way things are everywhere else in the tech wold so why shouldn't this same rule apply to phones?

Samsung uk is offering £200 off any s22 with a trade in of any android phone.
I'd recommend not ordering direct even with this discount as it's a "waiting discount" in that you will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to be delivered. Where as you can get it next day from Amazon.
I'll wait until price drop on Amazon etc thanks as they have much better customer service.

This is worse than the preorder deal which was worse than the google play credit + free buds deal. Was expecting BETTER deals since the GOS scandal and the sharp fall in sales globally not to mention the age of the device now.
The S22 should be permanently $50 lower, the S22+ $100 lower, and the S22 Ultra $150 lower combined with the $100 store credit. Then it would just be an "ok" deal compared to what the previous deals.

and they still face massive problems with deliveries. I am waiting for my preorder from February (S22 256GB green) and they are not even able to estimate delivery date - only to move it forward - on the day for which it was planned last time. Only reason, why I haven`t cancel yet, is that is finally some android phone with reasonable size, good cameras and price with preorder bonuses.

In my country, it is disaster seeing "people" buying s22 ultra phones just to....show off (and they tell that;"I bought it because I like showing off" - I am not joking), and they have no idea about photography. I just wander why they buy such an expensive phone; to do things that a 100-200 euro phone can do (chat on instagram and messanger and that sort of things)?
