              Anandtech has sustained benchmarks numbers where adreno 642 perform better than 640.

              I wont mind if adreno 662 is clokced around 500mhz, we need efficient soc, and good sustaimed perfomance more than paper Champions who shine on benchmarks and fail in real life.

                Was considering it as my primary last year but couldn't find a good price (it was still selling for its launch price in my country 3 yrs later!!)

                    The original Reno had a cool looking 'shark fin pop up camera' and was cheap. The newer renos are so generic it like any other oppo only

                              With 7 Gen 1 the problem is the GPU 662 I think it will not even lock 60 Fps. in my opinion.

                                why they have to copy designs. come one, its not like they're not getting paid to make new designs.

                                        The configuration seems promising. The 7 gen 1 in particular, if executed properly, could be a good counter to the D8100. Even if it's down on power compared to the D8100, it could be preferable to a MediaTek processor because of better emulator and GCam compatibility- as long as the SoC doesn't run hot.
