I believe every phone manufacturer right now has advantage charging what ever they feel like. Phones are not made based on what we want. I agree as well, this is probably the best $600 phone in the market right now(aside from older flagships that can find discounted, of course). I guess I just want to drive the point that it's not as big an upgrade as I'd hoped, especially if you're coming from a 2020/2021 phone already.

While the GT2 pro is one of the better 8 Gen 1 devices in terms of battery management and screen on times, it's still far thirstier than most phones with a Snapdragon 855/865/870. Haven't done a full 100-0% test, but I think 5-7 SoT is what you can expect, but standby time is poor so you can expect to have to charge every day even with light use.

              As a Genshin player, I'm honestly underwhelmed by the performance of the GT2 pro. I think Realme implements some sort of software trick to prevent heat from building up, so it doesn't really feel like an upgrade to the Poco F3 in terms of frame rates. On the plus side, the phone doesn't exceed 47 degrees, and I don't notice much throttling within 15 minutes of gameplay.

              Aside from those 2 negatives, I'm mostly impressed with this device. Software experience is very positive, Realme UI has definitely matured over time. The camera has weird color science, but is mostly good. The screen and charging speeds are top notch-no complaints there.

              Hope this helps anyone who was on the fence about whether or not they're getting one.

                Much more expensive than in Indonesia, but with better gimmick.

                  On the e-commerce website (flipkart) it says that the screen protection is gorilla glass 6 instead of victus :/ any confirmations with the indian units??

                                    same price like Edge 30 Pro, but realme have better display quality, longer software support and battery life. And this is the cheapest QHD+ AMOLED with SD 8 gen 1! nice realme.
