Godshead, 20 Apr 2022Movie is dead, movie is boring the same script, the same st... moreExactly! Nobody has the patience to watch a 2 hour long movie anymore that is just another recycled idea about some silly superhero in spandex fighting the bad guys.
Also, people watch YouTube most of the time. I'd rather watch some guy on YT clean up the driveway for an older woman than any Marvel garbage.
Also, TV is dead. I've been paying for HBO (all of them) for a long time, but my 3D TV hasn't been plugged in for at least 3 years now. I should cancel my TV subscription since I clearly don't use it.
It's all about smartphones and YouTube now. Even the news I watch on YouTube like Sky News or DW Live. If I think about it, I'd rather get a YouTube subscription, not Netflix.
Peace! 🌈👽💋

i got no problem paying for spotify , i got all the music in one subscription but to watch all your fav shows, having to pay 5 different services that keep increasing their prices? no thanks, i rather not pay anything and just be a pirate because these greedy companies asks for it and don't give us a reasonable alternative.

Who cares about cheaper tier with ads when content on it is so lacking I just don't care about Netflix. And I'm from Europe where amount of content is even smaller compared to US users.

Paying for extra TV compared to regular one which most people have at its ghousehold and have advertising included in price is always a big no.
If they willing to add even a single advertising from zero i currently pay for i will unsubscribe too.
Regular TV in my country when they run adds they last 7-10 minutes every 202 minutes of show or movie and is very boring.
Soon we will watch more ads than TV content like movies, serials, documentary etc.
            Thanks no.
Rather will pay extra for having no ads than seeing 10 miinutes of advertising every 20 minutes.
Its very boring if a TV show which normaly last 45 minutes is 90 minutes long due to ads.
And movie like Interstellar which is 169 minutes long last 5-6 hours due to heavy advertising.

They are losing customers because the customers have finally woken up and noticed the content on there is pure garbage. Not to mention the absurd pricing for the 4K plan. Just g-a-r-b-a-g-e. Undefendable.

"considers cheaper tier with ads" this will be definitely hit SWA reagon, including India and Nepal

Ads will cost you more costumers. So that's an even worse choice. Add global content to every country, and you will get more costumers again.

With the cost of living squeeze here in the UK discretionary expenditure is taking a hit.

This is what you get when the monthly subscription price continues to increase, without strong shows to attract viewers. Netflix choosing to add ads will reduce the number even further. People will just pirate the most expensive services because who wants to pay for Netflix, Hulu, D+, HBO Max, Amazon prime etc all at once

                        HBO Max is 75% cheaper.

I try to search Lucifer (or 99% of shows) on their search bar, and it gives me nothing, even though it's still on Netflix.

                            Deserved for still producing Riverdale
