Apple and Samsung are ahead of the market, in the past Huawei was there, but they aren't anymore... the BBK group is the next competitor, but they all do marketing gimmick with no output.

The involvement with Mediatek should be interesting as the previous V1 custom ISP chip is only available for X70 Pro+ and China X70 Pro.

If I'm correct Vivo started the NPU (neutral processing unit/engine)/ or dedicated image processing chip. They started with a V1 chip in the x70 pro plus line up, it was a chip manufactured by sony bruh. so yeah

I checked again in case I'm cr... moreX5 Pro does very good, specially in pictures, when talking about detail and accuracy of Main and Ultra-Wide, really good in low light, easily beats iPhone in photos, but still very much behind with video. In many cases about equal or beats S22 Ultra, but obviously not in zoom. X5 Pro weakness is zoom and video. And well for the most part X70 Pro+ beats all of the three phones in photography. X70 Pro+ became one of the best phones for photos, next to Pixel 6 Pro, except Vivo have worse zoom, while Pixel 6 Pro have worse Ultra-Wide.

They are the First company that made indispay fingerprint sensor.
First company to introduce Pop up selfie and full view display and later on dual popup too.
First and only company to use Gimbal OIS.
Their night mode is the best in class
Vivo phones are feature loaded too.
You'll know it when u use it.
