I bet, a few weeks after the Pixel Watch goes on sale, The Google Assistant will be available for the Galaxy watch. Samsung has the exclusivity of WearOS 3 so Google is keeping Assistant for the Pixel watch.

Watch 4 will get assistant when watch 5 released. (on 5 at start and on 4 with another big update) google or Samsung never promised google assistant with latest big update. But it is coming

I couldn't care less since I never use the voice assistant on my phone either. Tizen OS was much better then wear crap OS. This is the main problem.

Almost every features in siri and google assistant (like live text/search picture/translate picture of words etc.) are already implemented in bixby vision on Galaxy S8 in 2017.
The only minuses is only language compability. Thats it. But if you are using samsung devices/ecosystem, bixby can handles more task than google assistant.

what's point of a smartwatch when there is no voice assistant? 2020 fitbit versa3 and garmin venu2+ already have google assistant without the need of wearOS! bixby is not a proper voice assistant. it is way behind siri and google in terms of functionality and language support.

Too bad about the HUGE bezels! Samsung needs to work on that and give us a screen that is 99% 'screen'.

F sake. One of the reasons I got my Classic was for Google Assistant.
Battery life is toss and undermimes the experience, this is just another kick in the balls.

what a way to kill their own wearable OS .. rather than taking the chance while Watch 4 being popular and showing to people that it's gonna get even better they smashed all kind of hope and delaying what's essential to whole experience and making people look else where.
