Foldable options don't remove regular smartphone choices from the market just for existing, you know that right?

Pixels go out all the time on every ver... moreI have an Lg g8x thinq and zfold 1, still no dead pixels. there was a learning curve at start to use the larger screen, but so far its been good. except a very visible line in the middle, (i did get it replaced 1 year ago)

Z Flips are TRASH!! Pixels go out all the time on every version so far!! Really annoying to see a bunch of little rainbow spots all over your screen!! When are you going to get this right Samsung?🤷♂️

I am not saying Samsung is better, they are copying a lot of things. But at least on foldable and flip phones, they are trying something.

do not buy one of these Samsung phones. I have a zflip which caught on fire. Samsung have been less than helpful with this

Just hope the new fold has ip68 making it water AND dust proof.
Would have gotten the fold 3 but it is only water resistant and still lets dust in. Another gripe I have is the sd slots missing. I don't understand why they have gone down that road, in the past it was the main reason for people switching from apple to android.
One thing I they have done right on the fold series is have just one processor.. I. E. Snapdragon. I'm still a bit upset that on my note 10 ultra they have a much slower exynos chipset.
Hope they continue with the snapdragon in this new phone.

The secondary sales you've seen don't even equal .05% of the total sales. Also, Samsung devices always lose value after a few months. I've noticed this since the S10.
Admittedly, I'm a bit skeptical they can double their sales by just slimming down their foldables and adding a better camera, but Samsung accurately projected they would sell 6 million more foldables and they were spot on. They have more feedback from consumers to make these claims vs. our assumptions.

I still have an SD card in my Note 10 Plus but have accepted it might be my last such phone. Especially since I greatly enjoy using the S Pen and will get the S22 Ultra.

VR, audiophile equipment and media, pc gaming, smart home tech, and yes, foldables are just some examples of niche (which isn't bad) and highly profitable industries that have continued for years, decades for some.

Until we see a fully functional and hidden selfie camera + glass instead of a plastic screen + bigger battery, I don't see myself buying any foldables, even though they're cool.
