Elon Musk owes billions of dollars to the investors, he collected billions but he has to pay back them. Tesla is a legal ponzi scheme which will collapse in the next years.

Folks need to govern their passion and educate themselves. Freedom of speach does not mean freedom from consequences.. Understand this and you won't make it so easy for the not so stable individuals or countries to reck your country. Anyways its up to all of you red or blue since its your country. Won't comment again, but this is really really odd, anyways this is our first world insanity..looking for ways to destry ourselves.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2022not everythings an accusation lmao Baseless claims, happy now?

It is shocking when you consider that democrats have been claiming for DECADES that they support Free Speech, and in recent years they CLEARLY DO NOT. They lied as usual and many believed them. It took a man like Elon Musk to reinstate it on one location. Thank you Mr. Musk.

Shillaberten, 26 Apr 2022Yeah, totally "digital cancer"... good assessment... moreThe most affected people are the terminally online crybabies who worship their corporate overlords and are surprised that all that glitters isn't gold. I'm actually enjoying the salt from all the hypocrites who feed the kangaroo court cycle that social media had been reduced to.

Some interesting comments here, all in the same vein: "Musk is evil... I've already closed my account." I didn't know Twitter was so popular in Russia and China.

Surely no issue with oligarchs buying up media at inflated rates to influence public opinion. /s

The Cult of Elon is perhaps the most obnoxious, naïve, and ignorant following online.

Just remember the old adage about the golden rule: he who has the gold makes the rules. Now Mr. Musk can make the rules, be it good or ill for Twitter users. Those who don't agree with his rules will leave. Read about his past treatment with those who differ as well as proposed rules and see if you're willing to stay with Twitter. As for myself I've already closed my account and will watch what happens to Twitter in the next few years.

I really hope the deal fails. It'd be horrible for Twitter.

The under 20s are on average far less woke than the gen Zs and Ms, so my bet is that Twitter will gain users once the censorship is lifted. The Left in the West has been pushing us toward a China-style authoritarianism and most of us are hoping that this is a turning point, at least in social media. The cancer is wokeness.

That explains why the entire establishment, Twitter HQ, legacy media, and the young crowd on places like Twitch are crying and pulling their hair out en' masse.

You could call Twitter digital cancer, that's fine.
It's also one of the primary gatekeeping pillars of the establishment to control the flow of information and anyone who's paying attention is well aware of that fact, which is why you see people melting down- and now pivoting to some sort of damage control.

Now it's pititicians and business hype machine that will cause stocks to get overvalued then crash.. I'm old and twitter is where old folks tryin hard to stay cool and relevant get their info... Bottom line he just paid 44 billion for digital cancer?!
