I'd prefer these over the original Linkbuds. Got the WF-C500 and they are very comfortable over a long period of time and I think these will be a great fit too since the design is the same.

I am in the same boat: Have the XM4 since launch and I love the sound and ANC but wanted something to wear while in the office, where I have to go on video calls but also need to be able to hear my colleagues around me. That's where the LinkBuds came so handy. The design is much more comfortable for me to wear compare to, say, airpods and the sound quality well above average for open-end buds.

In-ear sucks ... i agree i hate any ear phones with plug like designs it's just so uncomfortable vs designs like link bud that just gently sit in the ear are so much better, it's why i also prefer headphones/ear phones of the past, whoever decided to make those stupid plugs to be shoved inside your ear a trend needs to stop/be scrapped smh

          "ambient sensor" 🤣👏 .. if you want to hear environment, decrease volume?! But 10years ago, almost you can buy flagship phone for less money than these days "best" tws.

            I'm a Linkbuds and wf-1000xm4 user. The comfort that Linkbuds offer makes me reach out for it much more often than the xm4, especially if I know I'm going to be in a call because of the superb mic input clarity in noisy places.
            Xm4 is still the better sounding one, and the ANC is still unrivalled, but I'm glad I caught the wave of open ear bud design now that Sony is switching the Linkbuds series back to the conventional design.
