SShreyas, 17 May 2022"That is because here i mostly talk with people that n... moreAm actually defending everything that's right, and am against whats wrong and ignorant with a passion, so that would be way more then just hmd and nokia. As for "you talk facts".... I talk facts and already advised you what to do to take a pick in what your device does wether you're using it or not. But nope, you decided your un"knowlege" is the right way and i am just talking conspiracy theories, instead of waking up and do the least you could do to learn about your tracking device. Well at the end it is easyier to ignore, i give you that much.
While you keep repeating the European case on xiaomi. They actually found the system that tracks and sends data to china, it was "turned off" and they had no proof of beeing turned on. No proof does not mean, not real. There are two very different factors that have nothing to do with one-another. Also because, as i can see, you have no idea what DNS, sniffers and packets are... your device can be controled and modified remotly, so they could just turn off that feature remotly leaving europe with "no case" to prove it is true. Not that everybody believed it or was ok with the outcome. This is the weakness in Democracy and how laws are applied. The funny part, i was not actually talking about that, but more about tracking behaviour and selling, pretty much what google does, with your consent to it while not reading the privacy policy and user information and also not knowing how to defend your private life against it. So yeah that is why it beats my understanding when for majority ignorance is bliss and they conset to two companies that track them. This companies know more about you and your behaviour, then you know, that should be scarry! And one of them is under a comunist establishment, if you believe that that company can do in pure democratic freedom what it wants, well have fun in your fairytales. As for me again, accusing the whole plantet of being "clueless"... well more then 70% are. Today's life and behaviour of individuals proves it while history always confirmed it in every situation.

Carol, 08 May 2022"Sorry, but I don't find your actions even remote... more"That is because here i mostly talk with people that need another 20 year to get something"
Now I am confused if you really suffer from Dunning-Kruger Syndrome or are just some random stranger who think whatever theory he has is true and the entire world which doesn't believe it is false and would need 20 years to understand that baseless theories.

"not that i'm to smart, but am for sure tired of talking to walking walls..."
If the most people in the world are "walking walls" according to you (except those who blindly purchase cheap phone at exorbitant prices), then it is a good to assess whether they are walking walls or you only talk of tr@$h that nobody is interested in listening to.

"I am actually glad that you're trying hard to deny it, at the end, what can a man do to earn some greens, right?"
Well, I talk of facts, not some theories proposed by conspiracy theorists. And it is a fact that no Chinese company have been found found collecting some data illegally, only baseless allegations from people who buy cheap phones at an extremely high premium.
As far as greens are concerned, it'd be obvious who is trying to manipulate not-so-well-known citizen by going to any page related to HMD/Nokia and finding you defending that brand like anything.

SShreyas, 07 May 2022"i mean Europe had nothing better to do but to pursue ... more"Sorry, but I don't find your actions even remotely close to what you're claiming now". That is because here i mostly talk with people that need another 20 year to get something, and am not taliking about inteligence, that's even further away.

"At least you have decency to acknowledge the fact instead of straightway denying it. Very well."
Well there is the proof another 20 are needed. Don't worry i know what you've tried, i wander if you also realised what you did'nt manage to do. Good luck next time... hopefully in 20, not that i'm to smart, but am for sure tired of talking to walking walls...

"guess, the world have seen the extent Europe can go during Cold War to show solidarity with States, isn't it?" Oh, so you never heard of japan, russia and china... but me being smarter then that, i go to just one thing: You shall not steal!!! Sorry if this is too much for you to graps. So, yeah, i come from the old school, back then, nobody was bragging about doing something stolen from others, but was actually trying to do something else. I guess, this days with so much ignorance wandering arround is "cool" to do nothing but sell some stolen tech on the cheap, to the mass and do some after sales income selling their privacy too. I am actually glad that you're trying hard to deny it, at the end, what can a man do to earn some greens, right?

Carol, 07 May 2022Ah you're funny, one could make fun of it for years. B... more"i mean Europe had nothing better to do but to pursue a company that was not suspicious of absolutly anything, i mean that type of angel company"
I guess, the world have seen the extent Europe can go during Cold War to show solidarity with States, isn't it?
Now that China is positioning itself to the same height as US without actually nodding its head to whatever US does, the history is just repeating itself.
Come on, tell the world one single incident where they disagreed with US (except buying Russian crude for which they don't have any viable option)

"hmd global slaps NOKIA name on cheap chinese scrapp... ah, now i know why no device looks like nokia, thats because nobody else manufacturers devices in China, thank you for enlightening me"
At least you have decency to acknowledge the fact instead of straightway denying it. Very well.

"yet i am the conspiracy theorist?"
What else you expect from me when you're busy denying reports from German authorities claiming some unknown similarity with flat earthers, telling the world that every Chinese brand is obeying laws "temporarily" and what not?

"i love talking with people that are more intelligent then i am..."
Dude, if anyone goes to any page related to Nokia, there stands absolutely no chance that you wouldn't be there trying to defend them (even when they failed to fulfill promise on a flagship and "compensated" by selling another lower range random phone at half the price).
Sorry, but I don't find your actions even remotely close to what you're claiming now

SShreyas, 03 May 2022You think you different than those "flat earthers"... moreAh you're funny, one could make fun of it for years. But anyhow, let's go back to "conspiracy theorist" cause there is the funniest part. Letting out the fact that everything i said you just scraped of purpose, well am not in the mood....Anyhow, you believe that Huawei has done nothing wrong... yeah i mean all this politicians are to blame, they wished apple goes up in sales, so huawei needed to go down , right? Xiaomi was brought to justice for no actuall reason... i mean Europe had nothing better to do but to pursue a company that was not suspicious of absolutly anything, i mean that type of angel company. hmd global slaps NOKIA name on cheap chinese scrapp... ah, now i know why no device looks like nokia, thats because nobody else manufacturers devices in China, thank you for enlightening me... yet i am the conspiracy theorist? And then again, maybe you scraped my words of purpose because you had absolutely no idea about what i was talking about, making clear that my affirmation from before is 100% correct...
As for, i think i am "the most intelligent..." bla bla bla, Not even close, and i love talking with people that are more intelligent then i am, it helps me evolve and see all sides of a matter...but when i talk with Planet fillers well, for them, i am.

Carol, 01 May 2022Too lazy to do what? To read about the nothing you're ... moreLol. I've never heard Xiaomi sending it's user data, but Nokia's 7 Plus was found to be transferring data to China.

Carol, 01 May 2022Too lazy to do what? To read about the nothing you're ... moreYou think you different than those "flat earthers", you too are nothing but a conspiracy theorist, who considers his own intelligence more than that of entire world.
Also, I am not asking you to read and believe Bible, but a legitimate report from Germans.
Till now, except for you conspiracy theorists (who are trying to prove how their favourite "mediator" which is buying unbranded cheap phones from China only, then stamping "NOKIA" on the back is actually better than every other brand in the world), nobody (including authorities) has able to prove anything against any Chinese brand (including Huawei and ZTE).

"Because xiaomi respected european Laws, most probably temporary"
Temporary? Why don't Lord Carol go in a European court to prove his night-time fantasies?

"Why would anybody want not one but two companies to steal their information"
For the same reasons some people think that their sub-par non-competitive mediator is better than every brand.
Also, not everyone believe conspiracy theories.

IQ? You're telling me you've IQ more than zero? That's news
But again, just like your conspiracy theories and night-time fantasies, I refuse to believe it.

SShreyas, 29 Apr 2022"Tell the world a xiaomi that old to receive android 1... moreToo lazy to do what? To read about the nothing you're talking about? The internet is full of (mis)information, i mean there are flat earthers, should i take that for granted too? I suggest you to first learn the basics of internet, then install a dns forwarder and take a look at your xiaomi and what is actually doing on the internet while your device is not even used, i know you have no idea what that is so i'm not even going to talk about packet sniffers, which might help understanding what a device is actually doing in the background. Because xiaomi respected european Laws, most probably temporary, does not mean that they are not using you and your data to make money, after all, google does it too and it does it quite in your face. Why would anybody want not one but two companies to steal their information legaly on the same device It beats me. You stay there in the bubble of "great" hardware and flying poneis, others have better things to study about. So you wanna talk about IQ?

Carol, 28 Apr 2022Yeah right, two months? Is like comparin pears with apples.... more"Tell the world a xiaomi that old to receive android 12"
Well, my Mi 10T Pro got MIUI 13, based on Android 12 earlier this month
And since my SD 865, aluminium built, best ever LCD display and better cameras with OIS costed same as this phone (which had ONLY 1 USP-timely updates), it's fair to compare both, what say?

"and have not addition of chinese traking"
Search "german regulators and Xiaomi" on Google, then continue blabbering.
                    (And those who are too lazy, here's what happened;
In September 2021 Lithuanian government accused Xiaomi of exactly same allegations as this aimless dude. And German authorities launched a full blown investigation which concluded in January 2022.
And guess what they found? This dude's IQ, i.e, NOTHING)

                    "then we're talking"
Please go ahead now that I have fulfilled all the criterion

Anna, 28 Apr 2022HMD Global is becoming too lazy in providing OS updates to ... moreGiven that they advertise monthly updates in the UK and don't actually provide them they are breaking the Advertising Standards Authority laws. I have raised this with the ASA and I am awaiting their judgement.

I've wanted to replace mine about an hour after I received it. The speaker sucks, the main camera is mediocre, the wide angle and macro cameras are laughably low res and almost useless, it's uncomfortable to hold, it's slightly too wide and slightly too long, it's far too heavy and the software is lacking in basics. They couldn't even get the volume level graduations right. It goes from off, to medium to way too loud, literally no inbetween. Hopefully they can solve that in the Android 12 release.

HMD Global is becoming too lazy in providing OS updates to their phones. At the end of 2021, they had updated their latest X series phones with Android 12. In Q1 2022, they had not updated a single phone. Now in Q2 2022, they are updating their older 8.3 with Android 12. Why they skipped G series phones which were launched in Q2 2021?
Recently they had launched G11/21 with previous generation Android 11 (these should have been launched with Android 12). They are yet to provide Android 12 update to at least dozen of phones and T20 Tab. Then they had to provide Android 12L update also. Not sure, if they will able to do this for all their phones before launch of Android 13.
