You can keep your cheap poorvtrash 5nm vs my 9nm bigger die core and much premium quality than you cheap trash junk low cost saving diesel vs petrol 9nm

joe nodden, 30 Apr 2022These are SoCs not motors, stop describing them using "... more14 nm - higher TDP, lower density, higher clocks (5.5 GHz)
10 nm - lower TDP, higher density, lower clocks (5.3 GHz)
7 nm - lower TDP, higher density, lower clocks (5 GHz)

I'd take a bigger nm core since I carry powerbank 5000, so if it drains more battery I ain't bothered. Just like driving a car empath v22 with 3.0L vs 2.0L, it's not costing you money, it's just saving you battery.

People who drive ferrari lambo Porsche don't give rats about petrol cost, since the engine is 6.0L vs your cheap 2.0L trash engine

joe nodden, 30 Apr 2022These are SoCs not motors, stop describing them using "... moreDies are manufactured from silicon wafers that DO have constrianed size. Making dies larger is more expensive because more material is required to make a certain number of chips.

Increasing die size further reduces yield because there is more opportunity for something in the die to go wrong, requiring that it be binned lower. This further drives up price.

Finally, die size HAS increased - but it is far more economical and beneifical to shrink the transitors.

Bid cpu die cores at 9nm is much better than small maggot 4nm too save money and less energy.

joe nodden, 30 Apr 2022These are SoCs not motors, stop describing them using "... moreThink of a CPU as a network of connected nodes (transistors). In order to provide more capabilities the number of nodes and the paths between them increase to a degree, but that increase is linear. So one generation of a CPU might have a million nodes, the next might have 1.5 million. With miniaturization of the circuit, the number of nodes and paths are condensed into a smaller footprint. The current fabrication processes are down to 30 nanometers.

Let's say that you need five units per node and five units distance between two nodes. End to end, in a straight line you can create a bus of 22222 nodes in 1 CM of space. You can make a matrix of 493 million nodes in a square CM. The design of the circuit is what contains the CPU's logic. Doubling the space is not what increases the speed, it just would enable the circuit to have more logical operators. Or in the case of multi-core CPUs to allow the circuit to handle more work in parallel. Increasing the footprint would actually decrease the clock speed

I'd takeca big due cpu 7nm over small maggot 4nm

          S888 blows the maggot 4nm generation 1snapdragon

And I assumed you just made a halfwitted spelling mistake at first by saying "blows" instead of "blows away". But now you've gone and made the same mistake, this time not even specifying what it could be blowing away in terms of performance. What on Earth are you saying? You're not saying it blows as in it's terrible because you at least made it clear that you didn't think the 888 was terrible. And why are you using the term "V12"? V12 as in a 12 cylinder engine? These are SoCs.

I can't formulate a response to something that is completely unintelligible. Quit your nonsensical analogies and state your point with consistent terminology. I'm not decoding your argument.

i mean one of the most important aspect of smartphones is network connections

Even some affordable smartphones have 5g even though there it is not as high-tech as flagships 5g

It's just good to know u have the future network even though u don't really use it

                              I'm in UK london

There is certainly advantages to the outer Fold design, but the disadvantage of having the screen exposed all the time outweighs them all.

The other Foldables are Z copies. If the leaks are true, the Fold 4 will easily set itself apart from the M, N, X and V. So I respect Huawei for sticking with this design. You have to lead if you want to set yourself apart.

Wow this phone is really good it ALMOST BEATS the Fold3 but is just those software pro features that the zfold3,IP rating and of course the dealbreakers for me No Google services and the fact that the SD888 is 4g here not 5g but its a solid PRICEY package
