Anonymous, 28 Apr 2022It will be hard for "nothing" to compete with And... moreThe thing is, only folks who have lots of spare cash care about most of this stuff. They always want something to spend their money. And when they get it, they begin to demand for more so they can keep having reasons to spend. To the ordinary folks however, non of these things matter much. I mean I would love to have the latest and the best, but my 2 year old realme x2 seems to be doing just fine, save for the average cam.

It will be hard for "nothing" to compete with Android and iOS.
As of now market is set for mobile operating systems. Apple is managing their own and others are just taking open source android and customising it, and hence they have become just another brand to serve "options" for people to choose.
In the long run only two of them will be unique. Apple and Google.
Apple because of iOS and Google for their android.
Now Google has got everything they wanted for an operating system i.e., the support from industry manufacturers to use theirs. Now Google is releasing all the exclusive features to their pixel lineup, which are absent from other android (Pixel camera is the prime example).
Microsoft has the opportunity because they also have huge user base but not on mobile. The problem is in their execution otherwise they can have the third major mobile OS in one way or another.

Tried it, forget it.
It's featureless - a poor persons Pixel launcher. Nothing by name, nothing by nature.
