Well honor is top and they could be top anywhere else because its still a company which once belonged to Huawei and compared to other competition Huawei always made best camera phones, best specs to price etc.
When comes to what you can get for money at that price level Huawei or Honor are still awesome devices.

Honor quality is great and most of them have excellent specs and camera.
Other brands ask much more and gives much less like Samsung, Sony or Apple.

all operating system are based on linux, linux is based on unix, and unix is governed by international consortium x/open
- apple and google
even harmony os is still based on android ... without gms
- apple and arm
there are only 2 processors, apple and advanced risc machine arm
on the pc and notebook
- intel, amd, apple, and arm
- apple, microsoft, and x/open derivatives
x/open share the source code for free, so does linux, the companies that provides updatea and services must charge their customers
- google and other cloud based services
they have all the users data, all of the subscribers
- music and movies services
most of all, those who got the money ...
- processors foundries
- mining
- screen manufacturer
all thanks to diversity of products, most people just see the brands, those companies that work the core of tech and provide the raw material through mining are where the money really flows

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2022Most of huawei sales in China were Honor already. That's completely wrong. Before the US restrictions Huawei had huge market share in China compared to their sub brand.

In china, they were cheaper than global, and also many huawei fans are willing to buy it. But in global, honor have 2 big problems
1. Price
2. Reputation
Unless they fix the price, most will likely buy Samsung, apple, or even xiaomi
