I'm not against developing and improving. I support every company for it.

T the Tinkerer, 29 Apr 2022Can we fully realize 5G before we start talking about a new... moreDevelopment must go far ahead the real world implementation. They just can't wait until the present generation of things is used up to its limits, because then the world's progress would stop.
And, by the way, why would any modern company or government wait for the rest of the world, especially developing countries? They need to keep the position of the leaders.

Sam Q, 29 Apr 2022I guess your brain secure with that tinfoil hat you're... moreI wouldn't be so quick to make fun of people. We are the first generation to have cellular devices on our persons all the time. There's no telling what having all these EM emissions so close to our bodies will do long term. We are the guinea pigs, mind you.

Can we fully realize 5G before we start talking about a new standard? I literally did a network speed test the other day while outside, and my T-Mobile based 4G speeds (includes band 71 support) were 10MB faster than my sub-6GHz 5G connection. The 5G did have faster ping, though.

          Good luck to them

              I don't even get 2g where I live 2022, it's a joke and I live in a developed country. 4g+ is still faster than 5g

Good luck with that one. It's meant to start in 2030 at the earliest and must countries don't even a proper 5G.

meanwhile in my country we barely have 4g, even if we had it, the speeds are pathetic, most of the time its below 1mbps.

Prepare to get your brain fried.

Meanwhile, some telcos won't allow imported 5G phones to utilize 5G service because they are not certified.
