I actually really like the design of OnePlus 10. People dislike the camera island so much, but it's really not that bad. Especially since phone shouldn't rock much if at all on a table. My main issue is like with everyone else here, the phone doesn't really stand out by any metric, especially camera is very disappointing given all the fuss around Hasselblad, has terrible structural flaw and yet they price it like a top tier premium model. I want to know what people at BBK are smoking. Must be strong stuff.
Back when i had Xiaomi Mi5, I really didn't care that it had the exact same structural flaw and that it was so-so camera wise. The thing was near flagship, but it cost 350€ when I bought it. At that price, you can forgive many things and I was generally happy with it except with updates for MIUI (the way how they were delivered and for how short time).
OnePlus 10 Pro is priced almost 900€ in Europe. I'd rather just have Galaxy S22 for 100€ less or pay 100€ more and just get iPhone 13 Pro. Which is just superior in every single way.

Imagine Dacia releasing the same car, but pricing it like a Mercedes, lol.
They had success with 1-2 models and thought people will automatically put them in the same category with Samsung and Apple, lol.
And it looks like Xiaomi is trying similar approach nowadays.
Looking at the phone market though, looks like people are not interested in Chinese phones if they cost premium prices. I mean Xiaomi is still no. 3 and nowhere near no. 1 like their fanboys were saying 1-2 years ago. If anything, I think they even lost some market share compared to 1-2 years ago.

So it basically doesn't do its main job decently. This is alarming.
I mean, I bought 11T pro expecting a bad camera but whoever bought this were expecting a great camera.

not sure why they had to downgrade the ultrawide, it was in thwe top 2 for uw last year...tried the fisheye effect a few times but it's something you wanna try but never use again, quality is bad... the only reason i can think of is to make it different from find x5 pro which imho has a n equally boring camera set up..

Still 127 points is a great score.
And anyway who would care.
Any real camera for 150-200 bucks does a lot better photos than any cellphone.
Even that exagerrated Xperia pro 1 fior 1800 cant match a real Cannon or Nikon for 200-300 bucks.
Litterary any DSLR camera made past 5-7 years regardless of a brand is way better than any phone made in 2021 or 2022.

It's just sma... morephones allow us to easily take ultrawide angle photos though and there is a noticeable drop in UW quality in the op10 pro compared to last year. For zoom, i stopped relying on phones although i still find 3x and 5x optical zoom handy during travels, as for the main cam, it really depends, you don't need a professional camera for social media, and many times AI processing is very good for an average person who doesn't use photoshop or lightroom

Snaps in half yes when you will sit on your phone. But normaly people dont do that so its fine.

Any phone makes bad pictures and videos. It's just smartphone. Don't expect proper camera quality. Also I stopped to follow most of the news and new phones coming because there is no change worth buying. It's better to just do your research every few years when you need to change the phone. That's it. Otherwise it's waste of our time and money.
Smartphone is all in one device but at the same time it's not real TV, it's not real speakers, it's not real camera and so on.

During the launch events of Oneplus 9 series and the 10 Pro, Oneplus spent significant amount of time talking about how much the camera on those phones has improved.
