Watch Series 8 could feature body temperature measurement if Apple gets the algorithm right

02 May 2022
The algorithm didn't meet Apple's expectations last year for the Watch Series 7.

I personally would not trust any watch not even a proper sports watch something as important as blood preasure etc. I'd get medical grade stand alone and monitor from the watch like folks do with chest straps etc.

Apple truly needs to figure out how to include the blood pressure sensor for the apple watch. This would give them a true edge and benefit millions.

All these features can be found on a less than 100$ smartwatch and they work just fine compared to the real medicinal devices.

Since I bought my Apple Watch 6 18 months I've totally lost interest in other brands. It's the Bluetooth model so I still get 2 days usage from a single charge.

                Anonymous, 02 May 2022What a boring design!It's a watch!

I mean what are you looking for here buddy, folding screen, triangular body, racing strips?? 🤷‍♂️

Like a said it is a watch, so your options are a square or a circle, like it's always been.......

Sure you have bunch of wild designs like Invicta does with wild oversized deisgns, but that mostly appeals to a very niche group of younger people who even still wear a classic watch. The rest kind of prefers more restrained, casual designs where dress watches and diver watches dominate things. Only thing that changed across the board is the size. Wrist watches are all a lot larger than they used to be 40 or 50 years ago, hell even 20 years ago was quite different.

Plus, Apple Watch looks quite different with different straps and watch faces. I don't particularly like sporty looking silicone straps or even leather, but I do like the classic link type made of metal like you'd find on diver watches.

Anonymous, 02 May 2022Still better than others. There all good with design it has to do with preference

Anonymous, 02 May 2022What a boring design! That’s why it sells so well. The more you do for design the more you lowering your potential audience because everyone have their own taste, so minimal design usually sells well. It’s also really hard to do something which have unisex design. Apple won many design awards for Apple Watch for a reason.

Haven’t you also noticed how many have tried to copy Apple Watch design, the design works great and it’s very versatile, especially with changeable bands.
