IpsDisplay, 03 May 2022Nice the dimensity 8100, the best chipset of 2022 so far in... moreWell, it could be described as a sub flagship chipset, it's battery conservation is the best thing about it, personally speaking, However, in performance, it's slightly older brother, the Dimensity 9000 far outpaces it enough to give the 8 gen 1 quite a challenge.

OwnFix3, 03 May 2022Time is luxury. Fast charging at a cost of smaller battery ... moreI would not describe the 80 watt version as slow, It's idea of being slow is a relative concept when compared to the 150 watt version. Frankly I'd prefer the 80 watt version to the 150 watt version, For the price gap in between, I don't think it's worth the upgrade.

Kakarot, 03 May 2022Dimensity8100 phones seems to have less endurance. Companie... moreI beg to differ on that point, Dimensity Chipsets are actually better in battery conservation and management, that is the only slight advantage they have over Qualcomm's Snapdragon Chipsets.

IpsDisplay, 03 May 2022Nice the dimensity 8100, the best chipset of 2022 so far in... moreSnapdragon 7 gen 1.
It will be stronger than 888 (CPU and GPU). . It uses less power and generates way less heat.

Anonymous, 03 May 2022How many years of updates does Realme usually offer? So far, Realme only confirmed 3 years OS and 4 years security updates for the GT 2 series. For the GT Neo 3, it's going to be the usual 2 years OS and 3 years security updates

Will you guys review the 80w version too? I am really bummed that almost every reviewer is leaving out that one. I'd really like to know how is the battery life on THAT variation...

I kinda wished I could've waited for this excellent chip to arrive, but alas I'm more than happy with my X7 Max thanks to it's smaller, more comfortable size (even though I'd like it to be even smaller), and not to mention the 3.5mm HP jack!
Why does everyone have to copy xiaomi in releasing 6.67' behemoths!!
I was bummed to see that even the excellent X70 Pro's successor has grown so much in size, I thought the X80 Pro might simply fix the X70 Pro's shortcomings (dual speakers, USB 3.1, IP, etc) and upgrade the chip, but they just had to make a massive 6.8 incher, smh!!🤦🏻♂️

Realme phones seem to be very bad at ram management, causing apps to reload on switching. Are others facing the same issue?

Dimensity8100 phones seems to have less endurance. Companies are just advertising fast charging with advanced cooling system. Cooling system may prevent phone from heating but not a power consumption. Realme GT neo 3 and oneplus 10r might not be the right one for endurance.

Center punch hole looks ugly...
Its a downgrade and even a blow-off..
Realme's left punch hole phones look lot much better and less disturbing

Time is luxury. Fast charging at a cost of smaller battery life, still higher price compared to slow charging with higher batter. 🔋

Should be on par with SD888 but much cooler under stress.
