Software reading is good but hardware is still the best for me, I can manage e-readers but the best is paper

Kindles are rare in Asia and are usually a few models behind the latest gen. I bought a Boox e-reader nearly 3 years ago that ran on android and not only can it read every file format natively, I can even open them using my preferred app so it blew my mind when I saw my friend doing all these steps to open epubs on his kindle. Talk about being a closed garden.

Jailbraked my 2012 kindle many years a go and installed 3rd party app alowing me to open all kinds of ebooks. No need of any amazon services! Unless you love amazon....

well i guess it's gonna be easier now to send files to kindle using both the app Send to kindle and via email, since most of the books online are in Epub format... So no more need to convert them via Calibre
