First and last foldable touchphone with great durability was Kyocera Echo back in 2011.
Since then all Samsung, Flexpai, Huawei, Xiaomi, even upcomming apple product will fail to impress as long as main screen si scratchable via nail .
If they really want to impress audience and customers they should make foldable phone with an IP69k and MIL-STD 810G.
Othervise is just an expensive gimmick not worth to buy such as Samsung curved screen flagships.

Old phones had plastic or plexiglass screen and was far more durability.

They use bohemian glass or chinese porcelain???
Foldable screen sounds as bad as it looks. And the durabilty is as horrible as it is. and no screen protector will help or works.

Maybe a 50 or up to a 200 eur price would make foldable phone a serious phone to buy.
Unless that its nothing.

Oppo is just being way too optimistic here. Unless if Oppo use 870 or 888, it won't be cheap.

I hope we could get global release of cheaper big foldable with mid range soc and cameras.
I have seen Samsung flip phones sold for cheap as 850 euros and those prices will come down when new models come and with Samsung excellent software support(4 big android updates and 5 years of security updates) buying older Samsung phones is a bargain.

It will never come to the United States, so I don't care. And it has ColorOS. Won't even let us change the launcher.
