Fo sure I am going to miss it more coz I used to download videos and watch them later in my free time. I wish they could give us that option even on the regular YouTube

You tube go Really saves on data. Always using low quality download. Size 2hour movies at 200mb suits my 1gig a day limit. Meaning 4 or 5 shows...main app yields at most 2 shows... Got to watch lotsa classic shows with you tube go
due to size savings... Thank tou go... Too bad you have to go...

YouTube Go basically a lite apps of YT apps but much worse compared to other lite apps. The app came out preinstall if you bought a phones with Android Go version. It lacks lot's of features compared to their standard app, it doesn't have dark mode, it's lacking of playlist features to add or view your favourite video that you had save from your account & lack the ability to view or commenting either. It just an apps that can watch yt video & download the video, that's all nothing more compared to another lite apps on the market. Not to mention that you need to signup with phone number in order to used their apps or else you can't used it.

The only problem with YouTube I hate is the ads halfway between watching a video. Its such an irratation. I understand they get revenue off ads but play ads before and after the video start and ends NOT during the video.

I did try out YouTube Go before and Google really missed the opportunity by omitting the comment section. For anyone who doesn't upload videos or do live streaming, this can be a worthy lightweight app for simple video binging and comment writing.
