Also no bundled earphones in the 2020 5G version in Germany.

Hey GSMArena please keep posting news about Mexico phone launches so everybody can see they have the worst/most abusive prices in the world

I would buy if this phone comes with pre installed Android 12 and have three years support. I think Samsung have solved the amoled screen issues in this but yeah only time will tell.

$672 for a two-year-old smartphone is a lot. It must be due to Mexico's import duties.

Now the rest of the world (that reads GSMArena) will get to see how dumb are Mexico prices regarding mobile phones, over 700usd for a 3 generations old phone.

The Android Freak, 05 May 2022I don't understand this logic. Samsung should have wai... moreThere's not enough of "old" chips on the market yet you guys are dreaming about a SoC which isn't officialy announced yet. Interesting and a bit naive if you ask me. Samsung has their own SoC's and they are helping in this situation a lot even they're not on par with what would people expect. That's the reason why all models are more expensive and many of them even downgraded performance or lack some features then last years. That case is not just with Samsung, but with every phone brand.
I'm not saying this "new version" of S20 FE model makes sense because I think it doesn't, but you guys are simply forgetting in what times we live. Global chip shortage guys + many other things like price of natural resources due to pandemic which has a big impact on our living standard has pump up the prices of everything, not just phones.
                Peace out!

They already excluded earphones from the 2020 Australian variant so I see virtually no difference here

But if Samsung waited for quite some time to use the 7 Gen 1 on the A53, then it wouldn't be a lucrative choice business wise

Though I can say that Samsung will use the 7 Gen 1 for sure in H2 2022, inside the Galaxy A53s or the Galaxy A73s
(Just like how Samsung used the Snapdragon 778G in the A52s, which launched in H2 2021)

Anonymous, 05 May 2022The question is : Should this device receive 4 OS update? It absolutely can receive 4 platform (Android) updates
But at least this will receive 3 updates, 4 is highly likely too

At the very least 3 years of updates (as per Samsung update policy), but it could very well be eligible for the 4 year update cycle, don't know at this point

Does this come with Android 12? And how many updates will it receive?

I don't understand this logic. Samsung should have waited for A53 to use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and A73 with snapdragon 870 instead of this launch.
