I could've try with a VPN but all that hassle for a product that may note come in EU ... Well, I didn't care that much. It's far better with a UWA and Black/White (Enven though I wonder if a Macro could have been better given the 2MP ?), we'll see how it perfoms :)

You have to select China as the location on the bottom of the Vivo website to get the official specs as it was a China only launch. It may automatically divert to your local country vivo website or the global one.

Maybe you are looking at the specs on gsmarena. This is a third party site though so the specs are very often incorrect. The correct specs are on Vivo's website

          Oooh I see discussion about memory prices

          Reminder that Samsung, Micron, and Hynix colluded to raise the price of silicon for memory more than double, and they succeeded, with the only hiccup being a fine of a few million towards companies who shared the sentiment "we have more money than god".

          Cut the price in half and that's what it should cost.

            As for the speed caps in MicroSD, in the past, that could have been true. In Xiaomi mainly, which still use USB 2.0 in their USB C port BTW, that should tell you a lot about :P

            In my S8 and Note 9/10+, nothing seems limitated or just by a few Mb/s, which is great! :)

            And yeah, the Depth cam is mainly for bokeh/portrait mode, which is kinda better in software nowadays.

              The ultrawide on this is an 8mp one rather than 12mp one as stated in the article. That is the main difference in the camera setup compared to the Iqoo neo 6. Both are using the same main camera sensor. Looks pretty decent for the price. Good competition for the Redmi k40s, Realme gt neo 2, and Realme Q5 pro

                2. Still they want more money by overcharging storage option
                Though it is true that all businesses want to get maximum profit, but this is too much. Especially for companies like Samsung that also offers microSD cards. It's like saying "Buy our product but don't buy our product". Doesn't make sense. I don't want to support that so I'll never get an overpriced flagship without microSD slot. There are other options in mid-rangers. Not many, but they are there.

                          Anonymous, 07 May 2022Brands that dropped sd slot will not bring back. 1) the... moreI understand and agree to your point but given the rise of price of the said 'cheap' memory, added to the global supply problem & shortage, you could sell a lot more device with a 128 to start (Frankly, a flagship should start at 256 Gb in 2022, given the price even more) and quess what, with a MicroSD, that could be bought from Samsung for example (Evo Plus, 90/100 W/R speeds which is better than a lot of eMMC & sufficiant for storage and even 4K recording), they could sell a lot more of 'cheap' device but didn't get impacted by the shortage that much; see the launch of S22 Ultra which 512 & 1Tb models were delayed (I heard tha some 1Tb model are announced as far as june, but ordered & paid on february!), I had my 512 model on 18 March, with an announcement at first for the 25 february at least. I guess they aren't the one impacted by all this ...

                              1) they save R&D money because it is not needed to spend time and money on design to fit the slot
                              2) memory chip is cheap, then they can overcharge the price difference between 128 and 256 GB versions.

                                S870 isn't a bad SoC but these crap 2MP cam needs to go, and MicroSD needs to make a comeback instead of releasing another model every week or so :P

                                    It uses more energy than 865.

                                        do people read or what? the prices in $ are china only, other countries will see about 50% increase in price due to taxes and the shipping cost.
