My first one was the 6T and it took 6 months to get screen burn in from the in display fingerprint sensor. Then I got an 8Pro and it took around 7 to 8 months. Those fingerprint sensors are trash and use a beam of light which BURNS the AMOLED screen

Also a couple of tech channels I trust have confirmed this. Please point to proof that this is not the case. Not tech channels opening prototype boxes.

I'm ... moreSadly, the timing between headphones & mobile (Sony XM4 is offered in the UK, with the imminent launch of the XM5 that could have been a better 'gift' considering the asking price) isnt perfect, I'm glad there is still a MicroSD but the asking price is still steep but I'll read the review to see what's up since 1 III

Don't bother. Sony Expedia 1 III on Android 12 is garbage,I very much doubt it's better on more expensive hardware. Worst experience ever. Been android for many many years and my iPhone 12 for work is tons better. First time in my life I'm seriously considering going to Apple. Sonys Android security updates are released at glacial speed. Apps don't work properly. Even Nova doesn't mitigate the crap UX. Material Me is locking things down so all those things you love about Androids customisability are fading. The Pro camera app is utter garbage. Unless you're willing to risk bricking your phone and rooting it, just move on to another phone out there.
