Looks like both Google and Apple are into the 'pill and hole' aesthetic. Expect to see a similar design in other Android phones too, especially the copycat Chinese phone makers.

Pixel tablet, ideal companion for your pixel phone....
Ipad, nearly a replacement for your macbook unless you do some intense coding, and even better for your productive work if you can utilise the Apple Pencil.
Google isn't really trying hard enough with tablet endeavours.
Nexus, Hangouts, Allo, Gtalk, 3.5mm headphone jack of the pixel (while mocking apple). With such great reputation on commitment issues, it's hard to expect Google Pixel tablet to be actually competitive.
The bezels of that unit are not small, but too small would make it difficult to hold and read.
Ipad offers 16GB RAM and upto 2TB storage, don't see google doing that just to promote google one...
Samsung hasn't really improved much, in fact latest galaxy tabs are just costlier and bigger with lesser features, just like their phones.
Lack of competition from reputed rivals have reduced the players at high end android arena to just Samsung and Google.
(Remember the time when HTC, LG, Sony and even BlackBerry were actually trying? Yea, that like a decade back, and there was something special from Asus too).

Hopefully the case covers and screen protection of Pixel 6 Pro would fit Pixel 7 Pro as I got a few lying around in my drawer.

Anonymous, 12 May 2022Ikr, it looks less premium than every iPad ever released. Makes me wonder if this will be a value tablet?
Or if the will refresh the design a bit next year?

I would have bought these if they were ever officially released in Hong Kong.
Think I will go Samsung next year.

No to the watch. Yes, it is "stylish", but I need a watch with a CROWN to help protect it, like the Galaxy Watch 3 that I owned & the 4 that I currently own.
As for the phone, I have the P6P and love it. As for the new one, looks like the 6p. "Stylish" won't matter once you slap it into a protective case, so what's the point?

It would be nice to see a higher resolution tele sensor (same size), for example 30 megapixel Bayer sensor instead of 12 megapixels.

You should switch too performance or game mode which becomes more faster zippy transition than standard.
I'm on the first firmware on my s22ultra, have you updated? I didn't, I get excellent battery life, I updated too latest software, battery drainage, so rooted went back too first firmware. Why update if it ain't broken dint fix

Anonymous, 12 May 2022Boring design. Boring ui. Weak chipset. Why not go for Sams... moreActually nope, i realize Samsung is not that much better. Despite having an 8 gen 1 chip on the S22 ultra, for some reason, things seems to be slower on it than on my Poco F2 Pro from installation of apps (both are UFS 3.1). It's not a slow phone, it's definitely fast but when it's compared to the F2 Pro it's just not as smooth and speedy. Also, as a brand new phone, the battery life is also weaker than the 2 years old phone. The camera system is great but for what it has, it should have been way way better. And i got the Poco F2 Pro at less than 1/3 the price of the S22 Ultra.
I'll use it for the many years Samsung is going to support the software but after that i'm hoping in the nexr 4 years, Pixel will become more refined and i'll switch over unless Samsung make improvements to their battery life and and performance. The YouTube battery tests does not reflect how it is in the average people real life usage. The battery drain when you are using the phone is massive while the standby time, though improved to an acceptable level, is still nothing like the Chinese phones.
