Frankly, if I didn't got it for 900 after all promotion/incentives, I don't think I would have purchased it, even though the camera are superior than Note10+, but not so much against a S21 Ultra :p

I think i must wait to see if they release a stable S23 Ultra/Note. I had the feeling i had beta software on a new phone, such a shame. Not fair setting such a high price for a hmmm, not the best flagship.

And Not a flickering, not a GPS issue (But there were a LOT of people that has the problem) but I agree that the battery life isn't superb, the S8G1 isn't better either. I still didn't switch from my Note10+ as daily driver though, mainly because of the 'bulkyness' (Compared to Note10+) of the S22U with a case. And I agree that this isn't the best on the market, sadly, coming from Samsung and having 'that' much problem ... No frankly, this year there isn't a announcement (Except perhaps Xperia 1 IV but damn the price and the software that doesn't 'follow') that interest me. That's just sad :p

This has the best chip android has to offer, superb cameras and a large enough battery (with faster charging than virtually all the competition). All for around 50 less than all other brands at this range

GregLu, 14 May 2022Sorry but that wasn't the meaning of my message, and I... moreI bought the S22 ultra when it was released, sad enough with the Exynos chip, i returned it after one week. 1 month after i tried again, same trash, i returned again.
Especially the Exynos version have probs with big lag, worst battery time, flickering display, a refresh rste which not match was promised, charge time a few minutes faster then my last years S21Ultra.
Try take a read on XDA.
And it miles from being the no. 1 it should be.
If you are satisfied, i only can say, good for you. Im thinking to import the snapdragon version, i always loved the old Note mobiles. And the stylus would be perfect, i have a tab 7+, so it could be nice for use it both places as i did with S21Ultra, but even better because it can be inside the phone.
Honor in the past was cheaper yes, but today the use much better materials as Huawei do.

Rly, 14 May 2022I want it for free to, but this we cant, but vs other top m... moreSorry but that wasn't the meaning of my message, and I've bougth something elese, a S22U, cheaper than the Magic4 Pro due to the incentives/promotions from Samsung. That's why I complained about the price, specially for a brand like Honor which is know for budget and mid smartphone mainly. In Wester Europe, they are nowhere to be found and the S8G1 isn't the greatest SoC as you can see the review from several models using it. So, that's a hard pass for me, just for the price, the lack of MicroSD or expansion slot (Yes, I know that my S22u doesn't have one too, but it's the 512 version, I wonder how much will be the Magic4 Pro in 512 btw ?) and the odd shaped pill on the screen that I'll see every time I use it. NEXT!

Im looking forward to see if the battery last like the Huawei phones does, i know its without the perfect Kirin chip, but lets see.
Im looking forward to see if they can do anything good vs heat problems with the 8 gen 1 chip to.
And then the camera.
Im tires of sd gen 8 1 and Exynos problems again and again, so i hope.
For me the best have been with the Mediatek 9000 chip, but 🤔

949 pounds is an extremely reasonable price when everyone around is charging 1,100, 1,200, or even the outrageous 1,300 pounds like the Xperia 1 IV. Very commendable for Honor to offer this phone at an undercut when it is just as good as the competition. Considering the phone's hardware, it certainly looks expensive to produce. Unlike Sony, which is just straight-up mediocre camera hardware with poor selling points. (Notwithstanding the jack and SD slot. That's pretty much the only saving grace of the phone.)

The pre order bonus may vary. In France for example the price is not written yet but the pre-order bonus will apparently be a simple 100 euros discount, nothing else.

Not so much, considering the price asked ... I'd rather prefer nothing with a 200- reduction on the price, but the GS3 and the charger should cost them roughly 70 ... So, that's why they prefer to dos this, as always!
