Will wait for FR and ANC graph. I do expect a lot tho. Killing mids and highs means you won't hear voices etc., wonder which gen will make you deaf.
Hi freq reproduction with smaller speaker is obviously good, I'm interested tho how it sound if you turn the volume to max on dub.

          And yet, they 'give' away the XM4 upon order of the Xperia 1 iV ... They could have gone with the XM5; cheap Sony!

            Anonymous, 12 May 2022No aptX, no buyAptX is 30 years old now. There is very little perceptive difference between AptX & SBC. I hope Sony implemented the new LC3 codec in these headphones as it achieves better quality at lower bitrates.

                  I watched the review of MKBHD and I think they seem decent. Maybe the new hinge design is more durable and fixes the issues that were present since the first 1000X.
                  More comfortable earcups with more space and better faux leather were definitely badly needed to. And better noise cancelling on top of the great one from the predecessor is nice as well.
                  I‘m sure Gymcaddy will make his own video too and then we will see on how many points they agree on. He always seems a bit more critical so that‘ll be interesting.
