Specks are great, but why the hell phones has to be oversized? As long they are making this series of phone for best budget balance with futures isn't not better to make for consumer friendly and compact phone? i hate oversized phones that you cant fit in your pocket.. :(

Things like triple ISP, HDR video recording were available on Mediatek's before.
And your SD720 is unable to process noise reduction or fast shutter delay over 32MP!
It's a matter of camera setups.
OEM often cut costs on devices with Mediatek's. They choose weaker sensors or lenses, remove Optical Image Stabilisation.
Sometime, they even add software limitation.
For exemple, Xiaomi 11T can't record 4k/60 even if Dimensity 1200 is able to...maybe to promote 11T Pro.
There are few exceptions.
Vivo X70 Pro with D1200 scores 131pts on dxomark.
It's more than OnePlus 10 Pro with 8 Gen 1.
And only 4 pts behind X70 Pro + with SD888 and better sensors.

Both phones have great performance and also impressive photo quality from the main camera. I have used both of these phones and can agree. Furhter, I have had both Mi 11i (SD888) and 11T (D1200), the latter phone took better photos from the main camera. Thet both felt quality snappy and responsive. D1200 is miled ahead of SD720. Not even worth discussing.

MediaTek... I would rather go for a smartphone with old ass SD720G than more powerful Dimensity 1300, just because of better Image signal processing, audio codecs and better optimisations dor Qualcomm .
