Screen power draw is the biggest thing, and now that BB has 4" screens they'll be lucky to see two days out of a charge.

Getting rid of bis extra payments will do them the world of good. I used to work for phones 4 u and it became quite a hassle at times. Even now I have to use a bb as a spare phone cz my one x broke and I have to pay for bb Internet even though I have unlimited data from 3. What a con

not using BB plans worries me... Means its like android's notifications, which lead to multiple connections to various servers.. which lead to bad battery life!..
If that is true, BB will lose its last trademark - good battery life

Misutsu, 29 Jan 2013Free from BIS and BES, finally !I want BIS - get my emails on time, and many people use BBM - I am in SE Asia and BIS unlimited is cheaper than some other data plans for non Blackberry mobiles. In Indonesia where I am now for example it is Rp90,000/month, say less than AUD10 - about quarter the price of Australian Blackberry and other data plans.

tomasz sznaze, 29 Jan 2013£47/ Monnth are they lost they mindes??? I would neve... moreiPhone 5 was at least £46 per month at launch on the majority of networks, most were still asking for deposits or upfront payments even at this price, and thats for a phone thats been released every 6-8 months for a good few years. If idiots will pay that kind of money per month for the meager few added features the 5 packs over the 4S, i think asking this much for a totally new platform from one of the most popular brands of phone on the planet would be quite expected really. And i bet they fly off the shelves.

£47/ Monnth are they lost they mindes??? I would never buy this phone for that much. I like it, but 47 is a crazy idea. I dont think it is real statement. I work for one of the high street retailers and i doubt that blackberry will be so expensive.
