The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is coming with a 120Hz LCD and a Dimensity 8100-Max chipset

This model will be slightly cheaper than the regular Ace. It also has different cameras on the back and adds a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Phones of today don't have notification led, so in order to get notification you have to have an OLED screen because only on those you can have option called Always On Display. I think that's why so many people preffering OLED over LCD.
Second reason could be becuase they used all the trashy class of LCD's on their cheap chinese phones so they think all LCD are the same with bleached colors and not great corner visibillity.
Anyways, I've tried both on many devices over last 10 years and I prefer OLED for several reasons. 1st reason: it consumes less energy then LCD, 2nd reason: they don't have burn ins like they used to have and people in meantime learned how to use them. Because on LCD you don't have to watch for anything, but on OLED you have to be careful to not put brihteness for very long. I respect your choice, but I have my own preferences like everyone here does.
There is no universal truth, just prefferences based on our opinions which are very different because we had diferent experience.

        Just because you’re against lcd doesn’t make it outdated or useless.


        Done right, lcd can give stunning results just like done wrong oled can suck

            Some people will attack you just for having your own opinion, and some will attack for less.

                  Individual personal preference is better than following the herd for no reason than to follow.

                    I'm excited about this phone's release...only because we'll stop hearing about it. Sadly, another rubbish OP model will take its place within days. The drip feed of phones and specs is as painful as a dripping tap.

                              Too bad there are people who have issue with people having a preference for LCD panels

                                Something big is going to happen with market and these Chinese brand 😳 still waiting for response from large number of people with 1device per week
